"Why are undead night elves joining their killers?"

It’s more like this.

Sylvanas and Forsaken: Hey humans, help us kill the dreadlord in Lordaeron and retake the city cause we aren’t strong enough to do it alone.

Garithos and human army: Alright we’ll help you but we want the city back when it’s done

Sylvanas and forsaken: Ok it’s a deal.

Garithos and Sylvanas retake Lordaeron!

Garithos: Ok it’s done, now get out!

Sylvanas: Ohh Varimathras, kill this dirty human! murdering and munching sounds Sylvanas gives her smug look

So given the circumstances can you see why the alliance was not interested in having Sylvanas as an ally?

6. Complete loss of faith in their god and leaders after being abandoned by them and realizing everything they fought for for thousands of years was a lie.

Please show me on this doll exactly what lies they fought for.
(And yes, they were abandoned multiple times if you go by in-game accounts so I won’t argue that point because most people only get what’s in-game. Unfortunately, the actual story is in Elegy and A Good War, wherein we don’t see this atrocious “I’ma hearth to Stormwind!” Tyrande and wherein Elune offers peaceful deaths to her priesthood.)

Their entire religion is a lie. To them, there is no Elune because nothing saved them. They prayed to Elune for help and she did nothing, ergo their entire religion is a lie in their eyes.

Ah, you’re talking about Elune. I thought you were talking about the “guardians of nature, keepers of the natural order” kinda thing that the night elves have been on about since the Sundering. Well, personal experiences definitely change religious viewpoints. I won’t fight for it.

I for one can’t seeing you actually being a believer just to think, Elune won’t let me die, she has my back!

I mean especially at all the countless night elves who have died in how many battles through time?

What makes you so special?

You for serious right now? Their entire kingdom burned down with thousands of Night Elves dying and Elune didn’t do a single thing. Not a single star fell from the sky to pelt an Orc, not a single ray of moonlight to empower a single Elf. Nothing. This isn’t “Oh no, I’m so special and Elune didn’t save me”, this is “We all prayed to you for thousands of years and you didn’t do a damn thing during our darkest hour”.

When do deities usually step in and directly intervene in Warcraft Lore? Did any try to stop the war of the ancients and the sundering? Did any stop Arthas as he sacked the blood elves and humans of Lordaeron.

The only time I can really think of offhand is if you consider the titans deities. They kinda helped with Argus by rezzing us.

They did come during the war of the ancients… What do you think Cenarius is? Malorne? Plenty of the NE gods actively participated during the war of the ancients.

Cenarius was also present during WC3… up until the Orcs smashed him.

Well I guess it depends on what you think Elune is, which to be sure is not well defined. Cenarius is a demi-god, as are the other nature gods. Demi-gods usually do take more affairs in the dealings of mortals.

A demi-god who is specifically the child of Elune…

for your item 6 NE DH’s says hi.

Elune failed us way before this. Our backstory off in game movie is destroyed villages and such. We sough Lord illidan, got a fel make over. And are now psycho edgelord Night elves who at least kill actually bad things. We don’t go you know tyrande failed me…I will join the legion, and get tyrande and all night elves.

We go I will kill demons and not deal with tyrande anymore.

NE DH’s lost faith in elune, tyrande and malfurion and the light. Illidan turned down his destiny…then fried Xe’Ra when old girl was not getting no means no lol.

We don’t go on homicidal rages on the night elves however. Even illidan…he’d have many reason to want to at least put his brother in the hospital.

Blood Elf DH’s the same thing. the sun well failed them. Silvermoon failed them. They went fel powered. BE DH’s do not go back home to settle old debts as it were.

And now the punchline. We have a fel core that would want us to do just this very thing. Our demon core on the inside would just love for us to go completely crazy and kill them all. We control that.

Don’t worry Luthien! I make sure all the newly raised Night Elves get a free batch of cookies! Oh, they also get a free hug from me!

You do know many DH’s joined the Legion right?

does a zombie think twice about devouring the brains of his family members right after he turns? just further proves that forsaken (scourge as i like to call them) are mindless drones that only exist to serve their lich queen…

Yes. But its not the 100% success rate of ranger and wardens so far.

Also many do this after prolonged turture. Or actually get promised great power. Sira was offered nothing. And she even has ohh I am forsaken syndrome. Old girl has this 2 minutes in.

She hasn’t even met anyone to discriminate against her really. DK’s in my head would be going girl, you need to shut the hell up. I’ve been hated since Wrath. You have been hated by anyone who has run darkshore warfront. talk to me after you have been undead 8 years girlfriend lol.

Now if the DK was really cruel…they’d also point out people hated her as a normal warden. Stick up her butt, rigid pain in the butt is what she was. I don’t hate her as dark warden as a DH. I already hated her long before then for just being a warden.

Very likely because undeath is a corruption, a blight on the natural cycle of life and death. I do not know canonically what animates undead, but they’re abominations and must be purged.

Yes, I know…“says the Demon Hunter”

I believe we can get along, demon hunter.

You really don’t know the lore… do you? First you claim none of the DH turned to the Legion, when in fact a significant number did and was a pretty big plot point in Legion… now you claim that 100% of the NE that died at Darkshore turned… which is also not true. The Valk’yr attempted to raise many NE but only a few accepted.

Sira was offered a second chance at life. Considering that she wasted her first life following people and a religion for thousands years only to be abandoned by them is pretty powerful motivation. Harboring ill will towards Maiev (who’s unlikeable in the first place) for abandoning her and burdening her with the mantle of leader while Maiev went on her several years long hunt for Illidan and then being sent off alone by Tyrande/Maiev to die alone…

Seems pretty reasonable to be pissed enough to take advantage of this redo and get some revenge.
