Like c’mon…it’s whatever in an informal setting like social media or forums/discord, but in-game text? While I was leveling to 70 my eye was twitching basically nonstop from all the errors. “It’s” instead of “its” is the most common offender, but I think the worst one was seeing the use of “tail” instead of “tale”. That’s just the completely wrong word!
I’ve played games that were translated into English that read better than WoW does at this point. What’re these writers doing? Show some professionalism.

Yeah, whenever I bring it up to my friends that’s basically how it goes because none of them read quests either. 
I really started taking note of it back in BfA, and now it feels like I can’t go more than one or two quests without another error of some type popping up. It’s even infecting background chatter from NPCs now!
I’m addicted to reading and this addiction is starting to kill my brain cells here.

I blame the Beta testers.
It’s their job to find typos and report them, they get paid enough, there is no excuse.
They all need firing imo.
It would probably be a bigger deal if there was more than like five people that read quest text.
TBH thats just accuracy.
How often do you hear everyone around you irl speaking with perfect grammar.
Strange I only spotted a few in the beta and they were mostly fixed after a patch or two.
Its not as bad as Ardenweald and the covenant quests.

People using irony when they’re just talking about a coincidence bugs me lol

Darn it! I read all of it too, and have noticed some as well - I’ve tried to ignore the rest. Now it’s going to be stuck in my brain and I’ll notice all of it!
The worse offenders are the ones that mix of their there or your or you’re.
