Can I just get a good necklace drop?

I’m creeping up on 660 ilvl and still have a veteran necklace. Meanwhile I’ve gotten over 25 trinkets since the patch dropped. I get them everywhere

My very first vault of this patch was 3 tier pieces, 1 glove, and 5 TRINKETS

Why are they so common now? I don’t remember getting so many in any other season.

We loot the stuff we don’t need, basically. I am having some of the worse luck ever with trinkets for the second season in a row

It wouldn’t be so bad if 90% of them weren’t complete trash.

I’m more impressed that they have 27, yes TWENTY SEVEN ring options right now just between Dungeons and Raid, and a single one of them is a Crit-Vers ring with heavy vers. And that one is a roll on it to drop followed by a 1/16 roll chance to get the weights you want.

But, you know, there’s 5 crit-mastery rings and 3 vers-mastery rings.

Their post about buffing underperforming trinkets listed 32 trinkets if I remember correctly. And that’s not even counting the ones that weren’t buffed. The amount of trinkets is insane

Agreed. Their post about buffing all those underperforming trinkets didn’t really change anything. Most are still garbage, just less garbage

32 spread across the 3 spec types, and agi/str/int, so each spec really only has to think about something like 12 or 15 trinkets with the overlaps.

But yes, basically 28 of the 32 are completely trash universally compared to the top 4. The raid trinkets were heavily overturned compared to anything but Signet for most specs. And even then, raid trinkets still out perform by miles after the buffs. It’s kind of ridiculous.

Why not just craft a 675 neck with optimal stats?

Only reason I didn’t do this last season was because of Sureki’s necklace being bis even at heroic level.

I got that Noggenflogger trinket. I was like hey this looks cool. Look it up on sims, I had to scroll so far down to the bottom, that thing must be the worst simming trinket in the game?

And there’s TONS down there. It’s weird. What’s the point other than jumble up the loot tables on purpose.

It could be worse. The amorphous Relic trinket doesn’t even appear on bloodmallet for a lot of classes, it is so far down it doesn’t exist.

I got two hero versions of it, as well as several champion versions.

I would say I would be ready if they make it good but by then I would be done with gearing.

661, done most the content repeatedly, and I’m still in my season 1 necklace. Lol

I’m not saying you’re wrong or anything, but Crit-versa is a PvP stat distribution for all but 2-3 classes.

So if you are one of those classes, you might want to look through the PvP gear to find what you want.
