Why are the Sethrak not joining the Horde?

I think they would be in the Pandaren situation, myself…

Honestly if they were to add Sethrak to the Horde I’d expect them to add the Ankoan/Jinyu to the Alliance.

The Ankoan are a lost tribe of the Jinyu. I would just add them both together as they use the same rig exactly. The Alliance have a good history with the Jinyu and now their cousins. It kinda feels like a no-brainer they would join. This way you get that rough aesthetic and beauty aesthetic for the race.

they don’t want to leave that territory

Do the Sethrak even want to go beyond their territories? Do they want to explore the world?

I don’t think so.

Really hard to say. After Mythrax was released we don’t really see much of them. We don’t know what’s going on in Voldun after we released Serhrallis either. Are the Faithless no more? Are they no longer enslaving the Vulpera?

Lots of unanswered questions honestly. But they would more than likely join the horde based on the coalition between Talanji, Vulpera, Zandalari Exiles, and the horde. At least the Devoted. Who knows though, since there are 2 factions maybe alliance and horde could get them.

its to bad sethrak wasn’t chosen :sleepy: I’m still mad @ blizz.

If Sethrak became playable I’d actually pay for a race-change for the first time in my life. Loved them since BC.

Zero chance of the alliance coming to have any relationship with Sethraks, in the current situation.

Simply, nothing will be written or created so that sethraks can exist in the alliance. Never. I do not believe that there is such an interest on the part of Blizzad.
It is better to bet on something related to the horde.

What scares me, is that sethraks being something possible in the horde, it remains to be imagined that a new nightmare would be imposed on the Alliance, by Blizzard.
What would be the new joke?

Have Mercy

BC? They were introduced in BfA or is your love for them beyond their time in the game?

I’d also pay for a race change and some level boosts if Sethrak become playable.

Never say never. :snake::crossed_fingers:

Not a fan of snakes myself. I do like the little fox people that came to Orgrimmar with Dolly and Dot though.

Ooka Dooka!

Well, the pandaren situation is that two competing ideologies split between the Horde and Alliance, and declared their loyalty to those factions. What would drive any number of tortollan to do the same?

At least three of them leave Vol’dun for Dazar’alor, two being a Priests of Sethraliss, and the other a merchant. There’s also Sethrak Relic Hunters who will idly say, “If we find this, the emperor will be able to subjugate the world for the glory of the Sethrak! I’ve always wanted to travel.”

So, yeah, at least some of them do.

No thanks.

I could see the Devoted joining one faction, and some remaining Faithless joining the other.

Kinda pandaren like.

Who’s reaching out to the Faithless, though? The Alliance’s encounter with them involved bombarding them from sea to claim Shatterstone Harbor, then repelling their siege on the Terrace of the Devoted before leaving the sethrak alone entirely.

When the Alliance returns to Vol’dun for the first stage of the war campaign, the sethrak–Devoted and Faithless alike–are left completely unmentioned. The same can be said for when the Alliance later invades Vol’dun, the Devoted are left out of that fight and the Faithless get shelled by the Alliance gunship.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Alliance were expelled from Zandalar after the Fourth War, so they no longer have contact with the sethrak at all unless it’s covert.

Yeah we don’t want a repeat of the Forsaken Blood Elf blood feud cause you know… at least some of the Forsaken ravaged Silvermoon under Arthas.

It’s possible there was interaction between The Faithless and The Alliance before they were forced to leave Shatterstone Harbor and other ports on Zandalar. I could imagine there is enough not said between end of BfA, Shadows Rising and the beginning of SL’s to wiggle that in. Or add something of some sort,

And well… maybe the scourge ends up reaching as far as Zandalar. Could force some of The Faithless to evacuate? :woman_shrugging: And or The Devoted.

But I think it anything, the fate of Sethrak as an AR will have to do with Emeni in some shape or form.

They really should be more of a neutral faction

For whatever reason they would join any side. Those who spent more time in Zandalar would side more with the Horde and those that resided more in Kul-Tiras would side with the Alliance.

As for the Tuskarr, both Alliance and the Horde spent time helping them out and with both factions engaging the Scourge in Northrend for about 10 years now, which has gotten even worse of late for some reason, some would have found some common ideals with one or the other.

I don’t know, the Faithless were involved in setting a tool of the Old Gods free which led to the containment of G’Hun being breached. That sort of thing generally doesn’t settle well with the Alliance.

Because Alliance players somehow got the idea in their head that they would join The Alliance despite minimal interaction.

And while The Horde saved their people and freed their god.
