Hello. you do remember that your first post to me was you agreeing that Surv. and MM were separate and distinct specs, each having their own play-style? You went on to say that they were still much more alike each other than either was to BM, something that I didn’t argue against.
Yes, Surv. will maintain its melee aspect. I wonder if the spec couldn’t hold a ranged aspect also?
Because not doing so makes people like you super upset over a video game. Which in turn, makes me realize how much better my life is than yours, WHICH in turn, makes me feel better if I’m having a bad day
This is putting the cart before the horse. Ranged Survival was usually pretty popular. The only time it was acutely unpopular was during patch 6.2 where it had exceptionally weak performance to the point of being a major burden on any raid team. 6.2 released just a month before Legion and melee Survival were announced so unless they made the decision at the last moment the decision to make SV melee came at a time when SV was already a widely played and enjoyed spec.
at this point they should just give SV back a ranged weapon and swap the cosmetic mini crossbow for a cosmetic spear. if people want the classic SV so bad you will only have wing clip and mongoose bite that procs on dodging and be ranged the rest of the time
Seems that people don’t want “Classic SV” they want MoP or WoD SV. I would love it BM played exactly like it did in Classic TBC. easy mode lol, even more so than now. All my abilities felt like they hit so hard! Beastial Wrath hurt and I loved it
Why not? Most of the spec is ranged as it is. What would be so spec-ruining about being able to do full damage at any range? That’s just a straight-up improvement.
P.S. Can we appreciate what a perfect representation of the target audience of Survival this is? A Warrior main with minimal investment in the Hunter class and a totally warped understanding of its history, assuming every step of the way that every positive of SV must be a direct result of being melee rather than in spite of it.
