Why are repairs 1000g now?

I have very limited time to play and am just under 2400 without a single consumable used. Consumables are crutches for the feeble.

I’m staying afloat with the odd tank/healer queue bag every so often, but it’s rough out there, especially with Zekvir wipes costing a lot. Can’t really afford enchants or consumables though, and I refuse to do a separate grind so that I can actually do the main ‘grind’ of the game.

Dying does matter but it’s not the durability that’s the limiting factor, it’s the timer

I only have gold from being enchanter and herbalist in every character. Gather and DE/sell everything.

There’s also a ton of 900 gold world quests, more if you are warmode.

I’ve got a couple hundred thousand because I don’t really spend gold on anything except transmog.

It wasn’t just WoD, that was just the start. The mission table was held all the way up to SLs. You could just cycle characters and just print money.

I could make more gold from 4 tokens in a month than I could 13 mission tables. Printing money is not the issue. Hoarding it is the issue.

Also save money on expensive weapon enchants by being a DK

which they are rectifying by gold sinks. repairing is one of those sinks. It’s also apart of being in an RPG.

Honestly they need more sinks. But complaining about repairs is so trivial if you put a miniscule amount of effort

you dont need to have the best of the best enchants either. r2 enchants are so much cheaper at a minimal loss of dps.

Look at my profile I am sporting only the best 3rd rate enchants lmao

Great Value enchants imo

Oh, IDC about repairs, cause I am not a M+ gamer or FT Raider. My biggest gripe is the 700g I spend everytime I change a preset transmog outfit. Even at 10g per items would never cost me more than 140.

My son says this alone is why void elf is the best elf

Also for boot enchants DF plainsrunner enchant is the same as TWW boot enchant, at a much cheaper cost.

So there ya go, great value enchants for the same thing

i think i am using that one lol

Probably dying repeated until the gear turns red and their weapon stops working. Toss in a few GY revives.

Only a 1000g? Seems pretty cheap for a day of m+ my repairs are normally like 3000g a day give or take a few hundred.

How many times did you die for a repair bill of 1000 gold??

Usually when my gear starts to go yellow its a cost of 500 gold

OP needs to pin this comment lol.

I would love to be able to send my gear to my alt in my warband (leatherworker) for repair.

Sorry I missed that.

What is a hoard?

There has to be something worthwhile to spend gold on. I have over 5 Million Gold and not a lot to spend it on to be honest. Its been around 5 Million gold for the last two expansions. I do buy enchants, gems, and other enhancements off the auction house. I also buy crafting materials off the auction house.

However, any big ticket item would be from Blizzard and would not really benefit the economy. Except the token. If I buy tokens on the auction house, that gold goes to other people. I can use that token for game time, transmogs/mounts/pets on the store, or even a new expansion.

Who knows, maybe I’ll get to 6 million gold this expansion. That is my goal right now.

All good. It’s kinda buried in that quote. lol
