Noun: A supply of something that is kept hidden or carefully guarded for future use or preservation.
Verb: To collect and store something, often in a hidden place.
Intransitive verb: To engage in compulsive hoarding

In this instance, I was using the intransitive verb. It may not apply to you, but there are players who hang on to gold the same way someone else hangs on to junk like the mallet from AQ, or the hammer for Zul’Farak.

Like said much earlier in the expansion . Its to make you guys buy a token to sell for gold

Indeed , repairs is way too expansive especially for people who spamming m+ or raid all the time and can’t play 18 hours a day 7 days a week , because when you do raid or m+ you die alot so the repair bills is extremely high and we don’t have time to farm all the time
Also buying a wow token is a not a solution it’s only tempory fix and a big waste of real life money

As far as i know all true mmorpg games still have it.

I think its the 1k x 500 from pugging.

idk how all these people are like ‘an hour of farming solves all your money problems’

I run basically every world quest every 3 days, farm herbs on my way to and from locations, and spend about four hours a week to just farming and I’m slowly losing money on average. I’m net like -80k over the past week and I only buy rank 2 enchants and never buy materials to craft if it’s a material I can get myself.

Most of that cost is that I got multiple upgrades to the four sets I run but most weeks I break about even, and then I have splurge weeks with a lot of upgrades that need enchants.

About all I can think of that’s negative cash flow unnecessarily is that I funnel all my greens and blues to the guild for mats.

Isn’t the lure from skinning?

Something doesn’t add up here. If you’re in such a negative cash flow after all that, you’re bad at money management and you’re really spending more than you are leading us on.

Like I said, this was a ‘splurge’ week for upgrades, but I only ever end up with ‘splurge weeks’ and ‘break even weeks’, which averages out to me slowly losing money.

I’m not even spending money on crafted gear except for the PvP weapon I crafted for myself last week, which used mats I gathered on my own. I think I had to buy a missive though.

I am in fact pretty damn bad at money management which is why I have a policy of ‘buy as little as possible’. Most of my outflow is repairs I would guess (Tier 11 delves really need to give more money than they do even if they don’t give any other benefits).

Figured I’d run a test on this toon I’m posting on: DK, plate armor, ilvl 598.

Started fully repaired: four dismounts from high altitude and four res at GY (res sickness) everything with durability was at zero. Total repair cost: 1300g.
