Just because a player payed 500k for a heroic queen kill, does not mean they are at the same level of skill and comprehension.
That player required the communication and skill of other players, to get into that content. The player themselves most likely (and a lot of cases) do no possess the same mentality and comprehension to do that content normally.
Well to be fair, everything Blizzard does is around making money (either subs, tokens, game shop, etc).
They are for sure not in the business of doing anything free, so one should always assume that most things in the game are geared towards revenue for Blizzard.
It’s a hypothetical presented to someone who’s suggesting that the cost of repairs are linked to token sales somehow, despite the repair system predating tokens by about a decade and its cost calculation never being changed.
You didn’t win anything. You never beat me getting AOTC, or a queen kill or myth track gear. because anyone can obtain this. No one needs to pay money for AOTC because we can all que the same raid finder and get heroic kills pugging. So just because someone else paid money for it, doesnt mean “they won”.
Gear is a revolving door, it will get replaced, you never “beat me” because you paid money. That’s what pay2win means. You paid real money to get an advantage over me in some way, instead of your own personal means.
Just a transmogrification costs over 500g. Had many, many days of play costing well over 1000g. Cross-faction play has gotten out of hand in PvP. Many of the epic items are not even working as upgrades…including item enhancements for gear, such as setting sockets in PvP gear. I used to talk to game masters in game frequently. I even attended Blizzcon in Atlanta years ago. I believe you may be losing some of your player base. The first day of Brawl Packed House Arena was epic, We won 10 of 12, then…new 80s running all around trying to learn how to play their characters in 15 man Arena. Tarren Mill Brawl was excellent as well. So many players are , including the names they give themselves. Please, I am not referring to all players! So much talent out there. My players stocked and supplied 2 guilds, Pvp and Pvp…covered all profs. Now I start from zero again. I’d like to compliment those who are still trying to make sense of these “improvements” !
