I see so many people at 1500 3v3 and 2100 rbg…makes no sense why they didn’t make mmr more punishing seems honestly like an oversight.
At this point why not just give it for random bgs or maybe just logging in and paying more per month. Really messed with itemization that RBGs are the single most rewarding content of season 1.
I know this was some developers programming error but honestly hope they fix this going forward.

Why do you care how people get their gear? It doesn’t effect you in any way.

With the change in loot for pve i think buffing the rbg mmr system was a nice move. Lots of guilds and pugs are queuing rbgs now. And rbgs have become pretty fun. Before I uninstalled BFA from my computer I remember all of 3 teams queuing rbgs at any given time. Now you can actually scroll down the lfg list lol.
With no tags online for 3s. 2s and rbgs are nice to just chill and do whatever.

These are valid points. I think I am just sour that I am having trouble pugging at 1800 in both brackets while pve nerds are queing their way to 2100 ezpz.
I think that I just hate this game so much and that I need to quit it because arena is fun but no friends play it anymore

Probably because 10v10 is far more balanced than 3v3.

A great number of us deal with this. Especially since BFA literally executed the btag.
I had 6 ppl I hard queued arena with going into BFA. Now I’m 1/7. And I don’t care for LFG, every UtherxDqt-Arthas is a blizzcon champion down there in the swamp.
Just do some rbgs yourself. Its not as engaging or powerful as arena. But it has its moments.
Other friends and I who survived the blizzard pvp purge mess around in rbgs. Its a lot of fun!

I don’t really like arena that much. But enjoy running RBGs. I’m trying to get into arena some but I’m burnt out after 3-5 games, where I can spam RBGs for 5 hours easily.
I guess coming from being a raider/M+ player for 13 years to trying to PVP this season it was a good transition for me. I’m especially fond of not losing your titles each season. As for the reward factor, as I compete in a form of PVP content, I’m glad I can get 226 gear to compensate for other people having it–but the level of difficulty of arena versus RBG difference, I can certainly see why you feel you deserve better stuff for doing it.
Yeah it is a good transition and you can get mythic level gear fairly easily. I am just surprised by how easy relative to arena it is to gain rating.
because gear is a central design element in an mmo
having rbg gear at a free difficulty just kills lots of other forms of content like heroic raids.
For example, 1800 rbg is absolutely free and it beats heroic raid gear by a lot
might as well just give everyone free gear from a vendor, rbg is that free
