These are the most valuable primals besides the blue alchemy transmutes. Why exactly are they worth so much?
They’re also used pretty heavily by blacksmiths.
highest primal in demand
Because they are fairly uncommon and in great demand.
Blacksmiths, Spellfire Tailors and Alchemists need a lot of them.
And LW. Just farmed 36 for my Ebon Netherscale.
My sales pitch is, “Buy these primals! They’re on fire today!”
And engineers.

Supply and demand, I know there is a lot of people that hate this concept but it exists, unless you have a central authority fixing the prices, supply and demand will be what determines prices.
If it’s like irl economics, supply and demand. Based on the comments here, it appears to be the highest in demand so the price will stay higher because as soon as it goes cheaper someone will nab them up.
Edit: me and Rev have similar thought processes.
Lol I used to sell mechanohogs by saying, “allows tauren to fit through doors” on the horde side XD I actually sold a couple with that, which is funnier lol.
used by everyone, farm them over buying if you need
Still not getting this one. I’ve gotten 20 without specifically farming them just from mining.
That’s a lot of mining.
they’re the hardest to farm.
Water, Air, Mana, and Shadow all can be farmed by engineers in one of 4 zones.
Water can be farmed by fishing.
Life can be farmed by herbing.
Earth and Fire can be farmed by mining, but fire is extremely rare. Because Fire is rare for miners the only good way to farm fire is by killing fire elementals of which only a few good place to farm them exist, thus they have the highest value/cost.
But they drop so much from throne of KJ, and they are constantly farmed day and night by our hardworking professional farmer friends. I would have thought the supply would be very high
they’re probably just used by everything good, kinda like alchemy and terocones.
Blacksmithing takes a lot of Fel Steel to level…
because they’re heavily used. It took 16 just for my belt, not including the extra’s required for the cloth.
They’re actually fairly common and theres mobs that drop them in most zones but they’re heavily camped because they’r in high demand.
