Way to not address the argument that outright disproves that Dragonriding is straight-out superior to TBC flight. Dragonriding is better for stunt fliers, but for people just wanting to get from A to B, TBC flight is the gold standard. It’s simple, forgettable, and practically automatic, and gets you exactly where you want to land.

Gee if we could actually play this dumpster fire, which as been mercilessly hyped for months I could see if you make sense.
But I can’t.
To be frank, those are minor negatives (except for Druid part because… why they have to ride a dragon in order to fly when they can turn into birds?), but that’s not to say those aren’t valid negatives against Dragonriding. It’s just in terms of negatives to Dragonriding, the first and last aren’t what typically people think of.
That’s because you’re biased. Instead of looking at Citywok’s comment in a nuanced matter, you’ve subjectively decided that it doesn’t make any sense to you, even though what he has said was still valid and makes sense. You didn’t even explain how it doesn’t make sense.
Especially if the topic of this argument is fun, which… i don’t know about you, but not having a ton of mounts, not being able to turn into a bird or can’t do loop-de-loops, doesn’t sound fun.

dragonriding sucks. the lame excuse of people just want to afk fly ya sure come up with something better. i never once afk’d flying only on them long drawn out timewasting flight paths. get a better lie than people just wanna afk fly you guys are so sad.

I can understand why some players dont like dragon flying, but I know that if it wasnt in the game, NO ONE would be flying right now and everyone would be stuck on ground mounts until the second patch.
Dosent seem too bad i kinda like it…
The zones would be designed differently in that case, though.
It does not match the gameplay style of a game like this. IF players wanted an action rpg they would not be playing wow.
This is the reason I didn’t buy dragonflight. Thankfully I got into late beta and saw how awful DFing was and noped out.

There are flight masters in every quest hub including the ones on top of the mountains. It wouldnt be difficult to have an NPC fly you to the conservatory and unlock the flight master.
And don’t forget it’s not even their own idea, they just ripped off guild wars. This is blizzards incompetence on full display. Imagine being a gw dev who originally worked on “dragonflight” and seeing blizzard steal your idea to douse their dumpster fire of a game, and not only that but it’s the premise of their new expansion. Do video games not have laws to protect against blatant plagiarism?
Dear OP,
There are many reasons why people would prefer to just have regular riding vs DR. Perhaps to them, flying is just a way to get to where they want to go so they can spend whatever time they have to play questing/leveling/or doing whatever it is they want to do.
For others (like me), DR makes me physically ill, and I don’t find being ill when I’m playing a game fun. I’d rather not have to walk everywhere because of that fact.

I have to AFK while I’m doing it so it can recharge 
They are never going to be able to please everyone. They can’t make the game revolve around people with no arms for example. I have no eyes, why can’t I play this? Maybe video games aren’t the best choice of hobby if you have nerve damage in your neck and can’t control your hands… Every single game is going to require that. Blizz can not think of every possible combination of player/ disability and make a game based off of that. It’s impossible. Dragon flying is hold right click and move a mouse with an occasional space bar push. If that is pushing you to your limits than I don’t know what to tell you. Playing a Wow class requires way more dexterity in a hand than dragon flying. Sorry I’m being rude. Also, I think they should just add regular flying because it does not matter. It is so slow in comparison that almost nobody would even consider it. Just add it. Dragon riding is crazy fast, prob 5x faster than normal flying. People don’t realize how fast it is because dragon isle is so big. I bet you could get from SW to booty bay in 20 seconds on a dragon riding mount.
