Why are people so vocal about dragon flying?

I want both as future options in future expacs myself. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

the bots are already out and have been get out of here. people who go against people who just want regular flying is hilarious. there’s no good excuse why it shouldn’t be here. the bot argument proven garbage there here. the whole afk in the sky garbage when people sit on cliffs with dragonriding. skill issue argument garbage. imagine saying flight points is a good option for someone who either has issues with dragonriding or just flat hates it lol. some of you are so hilarious in here both should be here by now everyone knows it just typical blizz gating normal flying as usual some things never change.

I still don’t like dragon riding and will never master it.

I went and got al the glyphs and I hate dragon riding more now, most frustrating 4 hours I ever spent in my life. I use dragon riding as little as possible and can’t wait for regular flying to come back, I will never touch dragon riding again when it does. It gives me a killer headache and that’s not fun.

All the reason Blizzard came up with why they did not want us to have flying at the start of a expansion is invalid now that they released Dragon Riding. Just give us regular flying already.

I finally figured out the mechanics only to discover the mechanics made me sick. Hard to soar with the eagles when you are puking into a trash can. For now at least with the vigor I can glide from point to point. I’ll never try to work the mechanics again but at least I have a way to play and get back into the game. And since Monicia carried me through that skytop observatory race quest I never have to do that again.

cant stop bots entirely but its a decent detterent. Every other xpac, the prices of finished goods and gathered materials would have rock bottomed by now like leather has. Having a healthy, almost functional economy has been nice.

ok after messing around a bit I figured out the mechanics a little. My problem was I was using left click instead of right click.

Once you get the hang of right click turning, wow turns into a completely different world. I’ve been using it for 12+ years now.
Even for ground movement. I only use W to move forward (but I also have auto run bound to my forward click), Q/E to strafe.

Got my 2nd glyph even though I haven’t really been looking for them. Just questing and if I run across one I go for it.

It might be a good idea to focus them. The more abilities you get, the easier it gets.
If you don’t have handynotes, I’d highly recommend it.

So. Is running your character from one end of a room to the other in a dungeon “not gameplay?” You could in theory press numlock and take your hands off the keys. When watching a movie can you change the direction of the camera and just start going a different way? Or are you intentionally being reductive because you don’t like something?

This is just wrong. There have been significantly less bots and the economy has been stable.

And even if that wasn’t true, not a fan of regular flying and I’ll never use it again if I don’t have to. Flying will be an option again sometime in the future but blizz thinks it hurts the game in lots of ways and tbqh I agree with them on that front.

No idea. People are playing an expansion called Dragonflight, and then bent because they have to fly a dragon. I would argue that they GET to fly a dragon.

No they think it forced them to be innovative when creating zones. They want no flight because they can be lazy in creation.
