I can read minds, I can sense that your mind is currently thinking. And I can surmise that you are not braindead.
(this post is going to be extremely awkward if it turns out the repliee suffered braindeath in the thirty seconds it took me to write this post)

Iâm thinking veiled attempt at âget rid of class/race restrictions.â

I did in the OP
the games over 16 years old and we have seen 100% no changes to the factions game play restrictions (actually this is not true, back in the day you could not make characters on the same server from different factions)
There was that one time I tried absinthe

Mostly because it goes against lore of the story and people donât like that. An example can be Middle earth: Shadows of war.

Blood elves have nothing to do with horde v. alliance, itâs about the Scourge Invasion. So technically those who remained as âhigh elvesâ are traitors to their own race of elves.

Veiled? No not at all, get rid of faction restrictions they are boring af.
But my main point is the WoW community is not against change (like getting rid of them all together) they are against options (like having the ability to restrict yourself or not)
iâm against things thatâs are against logic, lore and sense.
At this poing even gnome demon hunters wouldnât be too crazy

Or they just arenât edgy teens. Imagine if every race changed their name to blood every time a massacre occurred lol.
Honoring the fallen is edgy now eh?

Iâm not part of the crowd calling for high elves, but this isnât true. High elves who remained high elves have always been supporters of the Alliance. They believed their kin went too far in an attempt to sate their magic addiction and turned to other methods, which is why their eyes remained blue.
High elves have been seen working alongside the Alliance in many storylines across the years.

I donât think calling High Elves race traitors â the favorite insult of real racists â is a particularly effective argument when it comes to dissuading people from wanting to live their Warcraft fantasies in WoW.

Totally support that. Due to MMO nature, faction stories will always be bad.

If you change your entire raceâs name for that, it sure is.
So basically traitors after the alliance abandoned them in a time of need.

Whatever floats your boat I guess lol, thatâs the opposite of edgy.

Actually it was Quelâthalas that abandoned the alliance in their time of need. Those who remained in the alliance then stayed as High elves, thatâs Wc3 lore.

When those options dont make sense.
Itâs just like asking for options on the number of eyes a tauren can have? You guys are just racist when you say tauren cant have 16 eyes!

Garithos can be considered part of alliance?? I mean by that time Alliance of Lordaeron was dead and new Alliance didnât came into being.
