You never see either of Azeroth’s two moons (the big white one OR the smaller blue one) as a crescent, or as a quarter moon, or as a gibbous moon. They’re always full. Regardless of their angle with the sun.

Because those aren’t actually moons. The sky is just a big painting that they swap out between day and night.
They once asked the guy that does the swaps every day if he could handle more than two paintings so we could have different moon phazes and the only response he gave was a very rude gesture.
They took that as a no and didn’t ask again.

It’s magic.The only one you don’t see from time to time is the blue child .They are always position opposite of the sun ,except one time when ysera ended.
If Azeroth is round, why is it the same time of day on every continent?

Wish you were there! They had all kinds of animals in the petting zoo. It also had tons of random lunar memorabilia on the wallIs of their gift shop. And, even with my momentary lapse of reason, I still managed to remember to bring enough water for hydration throughout the day of fun in the park.

You can walk from one end of it’s largest continents to the other in 45 minutes.

Now that is an idea for a challenge… RP walk a lvl 1 blood elf from the starter spawn point to the inn in Booty Bay to see how long it takes.
I mean, assuming Argus was ripped through space and stuck beside Azeroth and the portal isn’t really a portal, sure.
If Azeroth “blocked” one of its moons, that would be an eclipse. Not a phase of the moon.
Too bad we killed off Star Augur Etraeus in the Nighthold. He seemed to be pretty seriously into observational astronomy (although how he managed it during the 10,000 years under the dome is a bit of a question).

Azeroth doesn’t move, rotate like a normal planet.
I suspect Azeroth is just the brand name of the petri dish we’re all unwittingly living in and all these wars are because the kids who are having to conduct this experiment are also unwittingly torturing us.
Just a hunch. I may be wrong but if we all suddenly get the urge to call ourselves Lutherans then we’ll know for sure.
