Why are alliance players unhappy?

Blizzard got a band to play theme song for the second place faction before the game was even made as a consolation prize hence ETC being in BlackRock Mountain and Darkmoon Faire.

Horde is the after thought faction. They are to the right of the Alliance on the creation screen. Second in chronological order. They lost this expansion and are the revolving door of generic villains each expansion.

While we have our golden boy Anduin

Yes they did? They gave you guys Nightborne, which was the most beloved race of Legion and had the most character development. Having brown orcs or “mag’har” was requested for a long time too and they even included every single clan in that package. Straight backed orcs requested - given. Vulpera highly requested - given. Zandalari much liked - given.

Highmountain Tauren was the most “eh” one on the request front but the rest was all highly desired before.

Meanwhile on our side we have things like

  • High elves? Nah, void elves here you go.
  • Threads requesting not to give Mechagnomes somewhere down the line of the expansion? Here you go, mechagnomes
  • Lightforged reskin as an allied race with so little to them they may as well have just been a customization? Here you go.
  • Vrykul? Have fat humans instead

Dark Iron dwarves are the only good ones thus far

So in your eyes, the alliance never has gotten anything they wanted?

Lol, Blizzard abuses Horde my flaming facial haired fwiend.

Brown Orcs/straight back orcs? We get Godly Space Goats
Lame little fuzzy goblins! We get miniature robocops
Lame Night elf remodels. We get some sweet blue elves to fit the motif of our glorious faction
Lame tall upright trolls recycling animations? We get ground up god tier race of kul tirans with unique animations and being remniscent of comedy gold like South Park and Simpsons.
etc.

I could go on and on about how the Horde was shafted the entire expansion pack.

Don’t try and switch the subject. My point was the Horde gets all the allied races they request, we get knockoffs or the complete opposite of what was requested for allied races

We get more than we could ever fathom of requesting. Blizzard transports us Alliance to another plane of existence. Gaming Alliance is an experience I recommend everyone. So far through my experience I have felt like a god. When I play horde I feel like an abused homeless person (yes I have played horde even though I main alliance).

How am I changing the subject by asking your views on the subject.
In your eyes, does the alliance not get anything they desire?

Because you’re switching it to a question that has nothing to do with the post. Still doing that, stop feigning ignorance. Either respond honestly or don’t at all.

I never knew I wanted Kul Tiran, I never knew I wanted Godly Space Goats, blue magic elves, or miniature robocops but blizzard delivered on this in a sweet care package along with an elegant Bee mount.

I can’t wait to unlock all this excellent content and I implore all horde to roll alliance to protest the abuse blizzard gives you all.

horde got recolored orcs, skinny night elfs, taurens with bigger horns, trolls that stand up straight,l you might have envy of this but they really are just as reskinned as the alliance ones… your problem seem to be that you just want to play horde and not alliance, and to that i say just go do it…

also mechagnomes are way better than hairy goblins with furry tails

It does have to do with the post.
You refuse to answer it because one of the allied races that the alliance wanted was DiD.
One of the things the alliance wanted, was to have the high elf model.
They do get things they desire, but they don’t like everything they get, and neither do the Horde.
That is why you refused to answer, because admitting the treatment is the same in some way takes away from the victim complex you’re arguing. Even though you’re using one of the races the alliance desired as an alt to speak.

It is very much a part of the discussion.

Classic case of grass is greener. Blizzard have always tried their best to divert attention from the fact that horde are given sloppy seconds by hiring bands and paying their employees to claim they only play horde (they probably don’t even play the game much lol).

Wrong. The Alliance playerbase wanted High Elves, which have been a distinctive and iconic part of the faction since Warcraft II. Alliance players did not get what they have been requesting for over a decade.

not here, i play both factions and have fun on both, i think the problems are the people that want to only pick one, even tho they have the option to play both… they complain like they are being picked out and treated badly because they chose a side in a fake war, not realizing they own both factions and are in no way prevented from doing so.

No they haven’t.
The high elves left the alliance in WC3, and their prince was nearly murdered by Garithos and imprisoned in Dalaran.
The high elves have never been an iconic part of the alliance.

That’s your opinion and it’s entirely false for an entire generation of Warcraft fans who’ve been playing the series since High Elves were part of the Alliance. They are iconic to the Alliance and nothing an ignorant newbie says will ever change that.

So your method of supporting your view is by claiming my factual statement is opinion based.
Cool…so…again…high elves were never iconic to the alliance outside of 1 game.
The alliance tried to kill them the next game.
So…
Awkward is it not?

Definitely feigning ignorance now. The High Elves have been a part of the Alliance and have been showing with entire outposts of their own almost every expansion since vanilla. Being distinctly opposed to their brothers and sisters that became to be known as the “Blood Elves”

The Alliance wanted those High Elves that held true. Those that yet still are a thing within the Alliance and have been a faction within it for years and years now. Those High Elves that didn’t mutate and get fel green eyes.

Not any more awkward than joining the faction with trolls in it, you know, their sworn enemy for many many years

Garithos being of Lordaeron by the way, you know what 99% of Forsaken are?

The darkspear and Zandalari are not the Amani trolls dude.
Just like how you recognize the differences between different dwarf groups, the same applies to trolls.

People who did not, of their own free will, attempt to kill the high elf prince?
I mean…there is a difference between “I am sorry we were mind controlled to attack you, allow us to help you reclaim the kingdom you lost” and “I am a human and I hate you and want you to die because I am a human.”

Edit: TO add onto this, Garithos was part of the reason, Dalaran is cited as the major one.
