Q: Why are addons allowed in any content (not just PvP)?
A: Blizzard’s intent by publishing the API is to allow players to make addons
They do have rules/policies for add-ons… allowing alerts for abilities, interrupts and CCs, enemy CDs & debuffs does not seem to break any of those policies.
