Why anti duel spec?

See how he’s for changes that he likes, but tries to stand on some misshaped principle when it comes to dual spec? Next, he’ll throw a ream of text at you with horrendous mental gymnastics justifying why his view of why the changes that he wants are okay while others are not.

Remember, this is a guy who has said WoW is dead and he’d rather be playing a weeb MMO instead.

See? The true agenda comes out. Instead of respecting your opinion and disagreeing with it, he needs to call you “obnoxious” despite your patiently taking the time to talk with him about this particular subject-matter.

Almost want to be pro Dual Spec just because of folks like this who just try to brow-beat others into accepting their opinion.

Would love to know how every expansion after TBC is “Designed around dual spec”. Especially since it was added after launch in WoTLK.

Slippery slope is inherently non-objective.

Show me the proof. Give me a history of how dual spec inevitably leads to where you say it leads.

Lol what?

We launched classic with a forumbase thst seemed to largely be of the no changes mentality with emulated lag, leeway, etc and slowly but surely changes have cropped up to the point where prior to TBC launched Blizzard changed their mantra to some changes. Look where we are now. Paid boosts, dark portal pass, wbuff storing, arena rating revamp just to name a few.

And here we are discussing giving us dual spec which makes it ridiculous and utterly laughable to ask me to to prove how dual spec leads us down a slippery slope. Bro we are already there.

So you’re either for nochanges or all changes? IDK MAN IDK

I reserve the right to have opinions, and to argue for or against each proposed change based on it’s merits or lack thereof. But then again, I’m a madman

Speculative assertion.

Yes, and look where you are now. Level 70 Warlock with a T4 helm.

Seem to me you’re in complete acceptance with what TBC Classic is.

It’s sad and ridiculous the way people keep assuming the way they have fun is the way everyone has fun. Fun is subjective. I heal because it’s fun for me. I want to do it. But I’ve decided not to heal on my druid because questing, farming and pvp are not fun in a resto spec. I plan to do what I did in the original game. Spec my druid dps and not heal until dual spec is added

Because the wait times were significantly shorter for dps in wrath.

How do you know that when the devs told us more changes are coming and asked the players for feedback on what changes they wanted?

Because it was introduced with Wrath, and should be introduced with Wrath Classic.

Great Googly Moogly, I cannot believe the number of people who don’t want to play The Burning Crusade Classic.

I know you don’t play or know anything about TBC Classic, but the developers have acknowledged the shortcomings of a purely authentic recreation in 2021. They said they were making changes and wanted community input on the kinds of changes we’d like to see.

Why are there so many spiteful retail players coming to the forums lately? Could it be that their game of choice is in an awful state and they feel the need to come here to patronize people who want to make targeted changes to the better game?

Yes, I do. The World’s Worst Druid finally got her mount, and my roster on Bloodsail Buccaneers is full.

You don’t want TBC, you want the illusion of TBC on top of a spreadsheet.

Yes, I do. You don’t get to decide what I want, retail player. If that’s your opinion, then your opinion is the Classic TBC devs don’t want TBC. You know, they’re the ones who have already made changes.

I really hope they improve Shadowlands so we can lose some of the trolling on this forum.

Many guilds don’t have enough tanks for the number of dps in the guild. Most dps in guilds that I know also do pugs. The guilds that don’t have that problem limit the number of dps they’ll recruit to their guild

lol, this.
slippery slope ain’t a fallacy. i’ve seen enough examples of it everywhere to know it’s a real thing

I don’t run to the instance very often. With only two people needed to summon I do it less than half the time.

That’s because heroics were dumped down to be easily spell cleaved in wrath. And all classes could now aoe to a reasonable degree. Compared to tbc heroics where CC is basically mandatory, interrupts are important, and pulling aggro is far easier for a dps to do, and far deadlier to the dps and group.

Hmmm sounds d like there was a design change in there. Hmmmm.

That’s the argument some of these fools have made. That the devs are deliberately sabotaging classic because they’re jealous that it’s more popular than retail.

You lie constantly. There are numerous posts where you claim the wait times were not shorter in wrath. Now you’re admitting they were but claiming it was because heroics were “dumped” (sic) down.
