I checked after posting. It was 242 but I didn’t bother editing because it is not a significant difference. The proc is pure trash and not worth the stat increase. If you don’t think they can pop up to that level you can decide if I faked this or not.

Daily Quests with Blue Exclamation point from NPC rewards up to ilevel 252 gear depending on your Cypher level.
World Quests from the map on the other hand, those quests with no NPC to turn in to rewards low ilevel rewards like the trinkets you are getting.

So you decided to ignore the lack of consistency and inability to get this particular world quests any higher than a blue?
That’s not the world quest trinket.
False. World quests rewards are Cyoher gear that go up to 252 epic— except the trinkets.

You’re telling me. I just did a few dailies and what did Firim give me? Two of the same stupid rings I already have for my Fury Warrior, I already had one with Haste and Mastery but I guess he wanted to give me two more today… Doesn’t help they’re Unique-equipped… Would be nice if I would be given something I DON’T have first.

color don’t matter if it’s worth it. Just means there’s one less item needing to be upgraded on the gear treadmill.

Sorry, but when I gear up in new seasons in my world content, I expect to actually get consistency with my gear and have all pieces rank up as I work my way through it. Working my way to epic 252 and being held back by blue 236s for no logical reason is ridiculous when this wasn’t a thing in Korthia, where I could get my trinket to rank up as an epic.
You may be content with mediocrity in world gear but I’m not when it’s inconsistent and feels like a step backwards.
Almost everything about ZM has felt like a step backwards.

I mean, it’s WQ gear. It should be mediocre. They could go back to it just being a flat ilvl I guess, but that’s not what I’d expect at all. We’re pass that design style.

Too harsh with the response. While I think it’s a bit elitist and don’t want the conversation to devolve into what solo players deserve, my original response wasn’t warranted. Autai deserves better.

I had a trinket from the WQ today “upgrade” to a 242 epic, it is the second equipped one. Symbol of the Lupine.
The quest gave all my other characters a 236 so far.
So why is yours upgrading but the caster one not? That’s a tad infuriating.
I apologize. That was too harsh. I didn’t want it to devolve. You didn’t deserve that attitude. I’m deleting those posts.
It was a random upgrade, it popped up with the little text like when items roll tertiary stats or sockets.
That’s my DH btw, to avoid any confusion. I switched so his armory would be easy to view.
I think it’s working on the same system as the WoD upgrade system where a blue item could roll an upgrade to epic with slightly higher item level.
Also, I noticed these quests seem to follow your loot spec.
I was able to get an Agi and Int trinket today by changing specs between quests.
That’s extremely odd when nothing else there works that way. I wonder why they’d to that?
It feels like it might be a bug, or they were trying something new. Maybe a bit of both lol.

Yea I still have a garbage trinket with everything else being alot better.
