Char select screen, specs, etc are not reflective of lore. Hence, holy/disc forsaken/undead, random Eredar skin tones and swapping back and forth between blue…
Eesh you don’t even know the difference between lore and gameplay.
Also thanks for the abbreviated bad language.
Have fun screaming into the void, just know you were already proven incorrect.
If anything that’s true but not for the reasons you’d like, the character screen select represent the majority of that race not all of that race. It’s how Blizzard wants to represent that race in the game. Obviously there were tons of different cases and the blood elves played were Horde blood elves.
We had holy undeads before, it’s not new. Just in original Naxxramas we had a undead death knight using holy magic. We do know that they can but that it’s painful to some point for them.
Your opinion and I disagree see that was easy.
You’re free to use the search function to see how many time that expression has been used on the forums and to report all of them. You’re such a terrible troll.
Goodness gracious, some things will probably never change, and that includes drama whenever it comes to Blood/Void/High/Whatever Elves in wow. Of course, all that could have been avoided if this game didn’t cling so desperately to its dated racial division, but well, it seems the devs just love to separate their players in every conceivable way.^^"
You’re free to search the EULA, CS forums, or make a post there to find out how it’s against the rules. If they equally enforced rules, all those posts you say to search for would be handled. As it is, it’s mostly automated and they only look at posts that garner enough attention + flags.
It might be dated, but many players have enjoyed it and still enjoy it. “For the Horde/Alliance” still get people excited at Blizzcon since the beginning and still the biggest way to hype a cinematic. I think there’s also value in customization which might be greater nowadays when they can justify it with the a race change cost which is why allied races aren’t just a cosmetic options to some races that exist already.
It’s funny you think you know more than me about this. But carry on with the nonsense, it never stopped you.
Cause I do, just like I know more about the game and lore than you do clearly. Just search the CS forums for ‘abbreviated language’ and get the explanation that abbreviated, masked, etc all are not allowed for expletives.
That’s hard for me to believe. The only ones still whining about “BuT MuH FaCtIoN PrIdE” whenever the factions collaborate, which has been the case since Warcraft III, seem to be just a very loud minority who somehow never outgrew their edgelord phase as teenagers.
Usually, people want to play unhindered with their friends and, above all, what they enjoy. WoW is pretty much the only game in today’s age, that actively forces you to play something you don’t want, just because they vehemently believe that racial division is still appropriate in this day and age. What a concept, determining loyalty based on a race instead of values.
No wonder the game is hardly gaining new players with the multitude of restrictions and all those copy&paste races. Imagine presenting overweight humans as a different race to muscular humans or Draenei, but with golden hooves and such. It’s honestly ridiculous.
I think you’d find many people enjoyed the BFA cinematic for that reason as the most recent example.
I think that’s trying to confirm your bias. Anyway, playing wow and basicly calling someone a nerd/edgelord is funny for me.
War, war never changes. Even nowadays we still have wars and they haven’t changed still that much.
The game is losing players because it’s been in a horrible state and has made tons of mistakes since BFA, it’s also an old game you can’t expect it to perform as good as when it released nearly 20 years ago. But yea, at best DF was a neutral expansion.
And yes that also part of their mistakes but isn’t really associated with all of this in any way directly.
If you’re really into a fun time, point out how weird it is that fantays enjoyers seem to love the idea of racial segregation and watch as they try to explain they aren’t racist but being racist is fine.
/cheffskiss
Edit: its why i tend to make sure characters i play are noticeably black skin when i can, especially here. Cuz i want them to look at me when they tell me “racial segregation is cool” lol
If there’s a loud minority here it’s the peacebois who want to bend the tone and continuity to their breaking point so they can get some more immersion-breaking customization options.
It’s an interesting idea but are you gonna call out people that have used elves and dwarves in their game and have stereotyped them racist then?
I think there’s a line with art and real life and the people that enjoy or write them. I think characters have stories and background and I wouldn’t call anyone racist for rolling an orc fighter in dnd.
Yep, what some wow players say and the way they try to justify it by all means… quite interesting. I guess many of these people have never played anything else, and that’s why they are so focused on the racial division portrayed as “cool & immersive” in WoW. I don’t necessarily want to bring rl comparisons into this, but it’s anything but natural. People, no matter how they look, are always mingling, and that’s a good thing. You can still maintain your own cultures. Sorting certain groups solely based on their appearance… oof. Really no idea why some think having less freedom is awesome, but to each their own.
