Why all the Void elf hate?

You’d get a better answer from Elisande in the elves cinematic in the assault of the Nighthold.

Vereesa plays at being high elves.

That Blizzard confuse their own lore or lies is nothing new if it happened at Blizzcon.

The High Elves literally still exist and can be spotted in Dalaran and Stormwind.

Rebel group of blood elves deciding to call themselves high elves might exist, but that is not a race that exist anymore and is a political affiliation

There is no major biological difference that would tell you one from the other as some blood elves never used the fel. The main difference is a difference of culture.

So you’re advocating that quite a few races be called troll since that’s where they came from? Was there an even different word used to describe them back then? No more tribes or differentiating?

There’s major difference between trolls and elves that isn’t just culture. Comparing one to another with a look would make it obvious.

If you switch a silver covenant armor on a blood elf unless he has green eyes you’d never see the difference.

Like what? Body type? Physical differences like the ones that can be described between belves and helves? Don’t forget about all the magic that makes races look different.

Also might as well start calling humans, dwarves, etc other names because they were ‘created’ from the curse of flesh, etc…

The same reason you wouldn’t call humans monkeys you wouldn’t call an elf a troll unless just wanting to joke about it.

Which are?

Sorry, bit confused here since Humans didn’t come from there in Azeroth. I’m asking YOU why you’re not calling them by their original race names or combining all races under certain umbrellas because they came from the same place.

You would also be calling High Elves/Blood elves technically night elves (highborne) and Nightborne the same if you ‘don’t want to go too far back’ and you think skin tone/eye color isn’t enough differentiation

blood elves have glowing green eyes and their hair and skin are much darker or otherwise unnaturally coloured

You cannot be serious about not being able to see the enlarged tusks, the toes, the hands, etc, just the facial features are wildly different. I’m not willing to entertain that madness.

You’re the one that won’t admit the difference of features for other races, I’m simply throwing it in your face so hopefully you realize how you sound to everyone else.

Ah I thought you meant it was your thoughts on the matter. If you’re just saying what folk were saying then yeah they said that a whole lot. >.< My mistake.

Yeah… honestly they need to just go for it and get customizations really well done. If they can’t just do them all at once they need to pick a race and focus on it and make that one race good then move to the next.

4 hair colors is hardly helpful…

Everyone should have as many options as the Dracthyr… and even then actually I can think of places for them to improve what they did there.

Thats not at all accurate.

Blood Elves are a name taken to honor the dead. If they don’t take the name they can’t be forced.

Blood Elves are High Elves. High Elves are High Elves. Void Elves are Blood Elves that were High Elves.

They’re all high elves.

Thats not how this works… The Blood Elves changed their names and did not change race. The High Elves changed nothing and also did not change their race.

Kael’thas doesn’t have any power outside Quel’Thalas. Not all High Elves accepted his name change so they remain High Elves.

And Void Elves literally changed into something new. (though that doesn’t mean they’ve forgotten their past either.)

You’re either sorely confused or being intentionally obtuse.

No player blood elf canonically ate the fel. They were affected by the radiation from the crystals being used to power their buildings.

You…become withered by eating too much and indulging in your hunger. Any lack of magic doesn’t lead to the Withered state its the opposite… so this doesn’t make sense.

I don’t mean to be rude but you’re just flat wrong on how you view it. Blizzard isn’t. lol

You haven’t pointed out the difference between a blood elf and a silver covenant elf.

I did point out your madness.

Blizzard made Shadowlands, do I need to say anything else?

I did, actually.

Go for it, end your posting streak.

You did not.

K then, flagging it is.

You described them as green eyes, which is not all blood elves to start with.

Ah this is why you can’t figure it out right. You think you know better than the devs so the truth of the matter is not what you’re here for. You were indeed just being obtuse on purpose.

I understand.

The game and lore has been out for longer than most devs have worked on the game.
At this point yes many players know more than devs.

Actually it is, lore-wise. Read the lore forums, also gave the difference for skin tones and hair colorations.

You have all the skin tons available on blood elf that high elves used to have.
You have all the eye colors available on blood elves that high elves used to have.
We even have black blood elves ffs xd
