I put in a ticket and was wondering if it’s even possible for a GM to exchange a purchased item (forget whether they can or not and that is why I am asking here).
So here is what happened. In SOD was in Gnomer going to buy my Enchanted Sigil: Innovation pattern when my cat Ms. Bijou (she turns 16 next month) hops up and accidentally causes me to by the Pattern: Glowing Hyperconductive Scale Coif (btw why isn’t their a purchase confirmation for a 25g item?)
So I was wondering if GM’s have the ability/capacity to remove the Pattern: Glowing Hyperconductive Scale Coif from my warlocks inventory and reimburse the 25g or mail me the desired pattern? Or am I SOL on 25g?
If its past the 2hr return window no…
SoD has no 2 hour return window for purchases, and no conformation on large gold purchase items (or at least the 25g gnomer patterns).
This doesn’t specify SoD, but it does include Classic/Progressive Classic/Retail. (Side note, I’m surprised that I have yet to see an article with anything in regards to sigils and all of that in SoD.)
Unless a SFA pops in to say otherwise, I fear you’re out the gold.
As for the lack of a confirmation window? Actions have consequences. Those consequences are all the more heavy on the Classic iterations (SoM, SoD, etc.). There weren’t a lot of safety nets back in the day, not like there are now in progressive expansions. I am sorry, for what it’s worth.

Thanks, looking like I will need to start farming another 25g. Still going to leave the ticket open until its resolved or one of the awesome Blue’s pop up and says a GM can’t.

Worst thing they can do is say no and you’re no worse off than you are now. Since you’ve got your ticket in already, yeah. Just let it ride. Maybe something has changed and the article just hasn’t been updated yet or any number of things. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for ya!

I know she may have caused you to buy the wrong item, but I think everyone here would agree that Ms. Bijou needs some extra treats and pets for figuring out how to use a mouse and play a game at such an advanced age! Just shower her in treats.
Good luck on either your ticket or quest to get another 25 gold. Ms. Bijou should be able to help now.

I’m afraid Leilleath is correct. Seasons of Discovery falls under the Classic refund policy, which generally means all vendor purchases are final. Sorry, Voidarcane.
