If you enjoy phasing go play BFA. This is about classic.

and if you dont want layering go play a pserver. the ability to play the game rather than waiting hours just to log in is much more important to me than whether the game is what you think it should be.

Or he can just stay here and protest layering with me, and hope that maybe we can play the game we paid for again!

The game shouldn’t be what i think it should be. It should be what Blizzard promised us it would be, which is a museum piece.

Layering doesn’t belong in the museum. If people have to wait in line to get in, so be it. I’ll take authenticity over game breaking convenience.

That’s good to know, they have your sub regardless, so your opinion probably doesn’t matter as much as people who are stictly subbing for classic. (As far as revenue goes). (IE; Appeasing your whims with classic isn’t going to gain them anything at ALL~!)

It has been proven that some form of dynamic respawns existed in Vanilla. There is an entire thread dedicated to this fact.

What did no exist in any capacity in Vanilla was phasing, sharding or layering.

Thundertotum, Look up Activision Blizzard. you will see that Activision Blizzard was not Blizzard. You will see it was a Vivendi game that created WOW. But basically Activision spent the money and ran out. Since then Blizzard took over and tried to give the experience of mmo. Now they don’t understand?

Could care less about its impact on the economy. Care way more about it’s effect on the community.

Classic WoW is special. I can’t pinpoint what precisely made it so special, but I certainly know I don’t trust any Dev trying to make it better. Just leave the game as it was and let the bottleneck sort itself out.

The visitors will get bored waiting in queue and go back to BFA and the people who have been asking for this game for 10 years will wait it out and get the version of the game we have been fighting for.

You know what else ruined the game for 7 million people right? Having kids, jobs, financial situations. Tell me, what’s magically different if we’re both on and in different layers than if we’re both on and you’re in Elwynn and I’m in Dun Morogh?

I don’t think you’re understanding that with layering IT’S ONLY YOUR SERVER. It’s still the same 100% identical community with or without layering. You’re not getting players from other servers. You’re not having players split away to other servers. 100% of the people on a server are playing together on that server. The ONLY effect that layering has is that you don’t always physically see the other person, which in reality and not in an illusion where people can memorize thousands of other players at a time, you’re not going to notice it at all.

The layering is fine. It’s absolutely 100% going to be there at launch. Your unhappiness is a price I’m willing to pay for a less congested launch. lol. (just kidding…sort of)
