Personally, my favorite character is the best character, obviously. Ashe from Overwatch.

Hanzo, because he’s not just a snack, he’s the whole buffet.
Other than him, no one really. None of their characters makes me think “Oh, I really like this character and how well their characterization has been done, they’re so complex.”

Can’t argue with you there.
The Ashe Book was fantastic TBH, much better than any of the other things they have written.
Finally a female who’s flawed, vulnerable and still badass AF, in a story that doesn’t make the male characters lesser.

i dont wanna say. you know how blizz hears that a char is popular, they go ruin the lore then turn them into a lame badguy or namby-pamby loser…

I am a big fan of Runetotem. He doesn’t get much screentime and I like that. He’s safe from Blizz and can keep on being that bad@ss cow who brought druidism to the taur.
Bfa also added Rohkan to my list of unslaughtered favorites. He had some fun lines.

I honestly can’t say I’m well versed on her whole story.
But then again I still don’t understand the need of lore in a shooter game… or maybe I’m just more fed up with Blizz’s constant retcons to even bother anymore.
Oh, you can’t even imagine my level of thirst for that one fictional character.

Jaina obviously. Then Pharah but only because I always have rocked with RL since Quake 2 and Quake 3 so since she uses the RL I tear it up. I just don’t like her skins compared to almost everyone elses.

OW lore is more sparse ATM but I do think they are trying their best to make it less chaotic than other blizz IP’s.
OW2 main new thing however, will be adding an entire pve side to the game, with quests , and leveling up heroes and playing missions solo or with friends and stuff. So the lore is going to grow a lot and be of more importance to the IP.
The Ashe book was the most recent big thing they released for OW lore. I had low expectations but genuinely ended up enjoying it a lot.
Between Hanzo and Ashe. OW is like a bliss for cake.

The Biker and Lifeguard skins ar pretty cool, and the haunted armor is amazing TBH.
