When did they?
The game is currently made for everyone. There are normal/heroic/mythic dungeons, M+ scales in difficulty for every skill level, there is currently 4 difficulties of raiding LFR/Normal/Heroic/Mythic, there is Delves that scale in difficulty (1-12 I believe).
There is more world content than previous expansions like Legion/Wod/Mop/Cata/Wrath.
Saying that the game is not fun anymore is completely false. I understand that you might not enjoy it, but that is entirely a you problem. There are so many different ways to play this game, both from an extremely casual level to a literately infinitely scaling level.
Personally I do not enjoy the current raid, this does not make it a bad raid, I just simply don’t enjoy it. Because of this I have spent my time playing other aspects of the game that I enjoy.
Transmogrifiers.
Obviously not you. Why are you playing if you aren’t having fun?
Now shoo, I’m still having fun and you are throwing off my grove.
- No idea what folks think PvP is like currently so can’t comment on that.
- It is definitely made for casuals.
- WoW still has the same core gameplay it has always had, so it definitely is made for old time players.
- WoW hasn’t been much of an RPG since at least Mists of Pandaria, probably sooner.
- It is really easy to get into WoW as a new player so… this is just wrong.
So who is it made for? Folks who like traditional themepark-MMOs with a heavy emphasis of PvE content. It may also be interesting to folks who just have a general Warcraft interest or who want a more sedated look compared to most modern MMOs attempting to be traditional MMOs.
This is a “you”-thing, not an “everyone else”-thing.
If you don’t like the game, don’t play it. Fun is subjective and it is entirely possible that it doesn’t appeal to you simply because you don’t like it anymore.
For me and only me.
It’s made for people who will use the cash shop.
its theme park
bring different dates on roller coaster, ferris wheel etc
i have abandoned pvp for years but only to try my outlaw rogue dressed like a warrior recently as new date to do AV with and marveled at my newfound fun
It use to be the point of M+ till they said “watch this” and deleted the real first 10 difficulties. Now, it’s just overturned garbage.
I think a lot of this feel comes from Blizz’s increasingly desperate attempts to force an Esport to emerge from M+. All the huge changes to M+ every season, then the nerfing of tanks at the start of this expac - just Blizz trying their hardest to figure out how to get an Esport out of M+.
I don’t think Blizz will ever realize that their tiny, tiny prize pools will never entice big name Esports players making millions elsewhere to drop all that income to run MDI for a shot at a small part of the $300k prize pool. The 2022 prize pool for The International was $40 million.
It’s not fun for you anymore.
Move on bro .
Made for whoever wants to play is my take.
You mention it’s not made for old timers anymore.
I disagree with you there, sorry. I’m 52 and been playing since my 30s ,so approx since late Vanilla.
I don’t have my age define me over play. I also don’t race for things like did back in Wrath for an example.
Things are going to change wether we want them to or not in the end.
If you’re realyl not feeling the game anymore maybe it’s either time for a break or time to just walk away and find something else.
That’s a good response right here.

yes.
yes it is an MMO.
Made for me.
Yeah as someone in a mythic raid guild this just isn’t true and its a case of your perception is far removed from reality. Why do you think we have a 35 player roster for a 20 player raid? Cause if someone wants to take the other half out to dinner, too tired after work ect ect then by all means just say so and do your thing. Bathroom breaks restricted and timed you can’t honestly believe that right?
“It’s not made for casuals” yet everything Blizzard changes is because the majority of casuals want it. They made loot easier, because casuals want it, they give out loot pratically for free, because casuals want it, they made LFR an AFK fest, because casuals want it, they simplified most class rotations, because casuals want it, they buff only the easy 4 button play classes, because casuals want it, they made mythic track gear available at lower types of content, because casuals want it. So what part of this game isn’t casual friendly? You want and want and want and still complain about literally everything. If you’re that miserable, go waste 15 a month on some other game. All this GD is casual players complaining about not getting their way about everything or it’s “too hard” or “we don’t have enough time to do this”
Yes, MOST raid teams have an active roster of 15 extra players for 20 man content.
Sterling response.
15 maybe not but they do have an extra 5-10. Recruitment is super easy with all the resources available now
