Who is Warcraft’s *Worst* Villain?

This. Seriously. Her Dick Dastardly impression since 8.0 is such lazy writing.

That took me forever to figure out -_-

Hogger!
Really… that npc was a digital nightmare.

Deathwing for sure. Too many dragon bosses already before him. Maybe more because any villain after lich king wouldn’t stack up to arthas. Maybe sargeras would be close. Guldan was bizarre too, why was he in the night hold, made no sense at all. Tomb yes, not the nighthold though.

I loved these two. They made me laugh every time I did that dungeon.

Koramar yells: Put a muzzle on it.

Zoggosh yells: Good idea, sir!

Koramar yells: I didn’t mean the cat.

and I love the voice acting for:

Zoggosh yells: Sir, he’s out of ammunition! I’m reloading, I’m reloading!

Mannoroth. A waste of resources. I do not care he was in a raid, but he did not have the gumption to lead. Plus, he was brought back by the pawn Gul’dan. At least the latter gave me fits and I genuine had a dislike for him.

Those were also their alternate universe incarnations, which means our universe’s version of the pair should still be alive somewhere.

Garithos.

He came out of nowhere, was incompetent, acted like no other human and ended up being just a plot device to push the blood elves away from the Alliance and put Kael’thas in the path of villainy. Once his purpose was fulfilled, he was quickly disposed of in an humiliating way, and never remembered since. His actions are now blamed on “humans” or “the Alliance” in general, as if he never existed.

The elevator boss

Don’t forget that Kil’jaeden, the Deceiver, was, well, deceiving them. He took the form of their ancestors (i.e. their entire religious system) and subsequently falsely warned of the Draenei being an existential threat. By the time it was figured out to be false, the orcs were already united and in the throes of war, and I’m pretty sure the demon blood followed soon after though I haven’t read the book in years. Correct me if I’m wrong

Was going to mention the Iron Horde, but someone else explained them better.

My second option would be the Burning Legion because of how ineffective they were in their mission to conquer our world.

For an endless army of demons who apparently conquered countless worlds and whatnot, they sure do know how to fail every time they invade Azeroth, and the only meaningful affect that they had on our world is when Sargeras was involved, first when the portal collapsed on him, and secondly when he gleefully stabbed Azeroth.

The previous expansion hyped up their invasion as some sort of final, full force attack on Azeroth and made it seem like it was the end of the world… only for it to be centred on a bunch of Islands for the entire expansion and nothing serious happened.

A pretty succinct summary, if I do say so myself
Kil’jaeden convinced the orcs through their “gods”, or the ancestors that they venerate that the draenei were their enemies and were preparing to wipe them out. One could almost describe the war against the draenei as a holy war, crusade/jihad of sorts where intelligent and charismatic leaders allowed themselves to be swayed and influenced in return for power and prestige. And all they had to do was sell their people a grand lie that would beholden them to the burning legion as slaves forever. Reminds me of pogroms committed throughout the middle ages against the Jews by people they knew mostly as friends and neighbors. There are some interesting real life parallels…

Caused by Sargeras, and not the burning legion itself.

Already addressed this.

Blackingwing Descent and his distant cousin Antorus the Burning Throne LOL

Ah! heh

I think you underestimate Nomi. I still was unable to collect all the recipes thanks to that savage overstuffed panda. The days of being a completionist ended quite tragically in Legion.
