Friendo, you cant be a Sylvanas stan and accuse literally anyone else of having plot armor.
She was good until Cataclysm, at which point she just became full evil and super boring.

Alexstraza always fascinated me.
She doesn’t have plot armor, that’s Mary Sue Sylvanas.
The plot armor thing is becoming an overused phrase. I see it EVERYWHERE now. I feel like some online critic uses it, then everyone with a keyboard starts repeating it. It’s High Power Fantasy. None of us complained when Conan was cutting up entire armies of dudes. Why is it suddenly not okay to do in fantasy anymore? Because GRR Martin likes death?
And Ysera… puuuuuuuuurrrrrrr
And crevices whither one mayeth foster mushrooms.
forsaken/undead are basically just the elderly. i mean, their skin is like paper, they gotta be careful takin care of themselves… only difference is they rot-away faster, and can see even if they have no eyes… also bones and stuff hang out of’em sometimes, and they don’t feel the need to eat/drink.
People, people! Your waifus are ALL valid. Whether a Sylvanas stan or a Jaina stan, we’ve all got our reasons!
Its plot armor when they dont like the character. Its being badass when they do. Its Proto Layered Optimal Titan Armor when its King Mekkatorque.
Preeetty much. But…pending on the forsaken, you’ve still got a really neat person in there. Velsie in BTS was really nice, so was Pascal.
Eeh. I don’t think any of the “important” characters are attractive in really any of those categories. All of them work… okayish as characters for the sake of story, but as actual people they’re kind of, idk, husks? Like their character is built so much for the sake of WoW that they don’t feel like enough of an actual person for me to consider any of them attractive, ya’ know? That applies to appearances to. It’s probably mostly “fashion”, because everyone is geared up for combat or whatever instead of looking like people, but still. None stand out.
Voice is a bit different, but I think it takes a lot for a -voice- to stand out because of how it sounds rather than just how good of a job the voice actor is doing. I’d almost say Ve’nari, but really it’s just certain lines, and I inevitably just start picturing Ana from Overwatch, so…
The next raid needs to end with Gamon bursting through the wall and forcing jaina and Sylvanas to shake hands and make up.
BTS showed that most of the Forsaken are just ordinary people trying to make the best out of a bad situation. I hope now that Sylvanas isnt in charge, we get more of that and less of the twirling mustache Forsaken.
Baine Bloodhoof is the most attractive.
I’m a gay bear.
You’re not even a druid you fraud.
mary-suevanas?
…sorry, just trying to make it more… i dunno, easy to differentiate between survival-sylvanas, and got-triggered-burn-the-tree-sylvanas.
YES YES YES OH MY GOD I FOUND SOMEBODY ELSE
You don’t know how happy you just made me
I’m so
Ah
Crap
Thank you. <3
I just wanna see somebody be nice to the forsaken.
This is the thing that I’m finding incredibly troubling.
I get that people don’t like Sylvanas. I’m not stupid, I get that. She’s deliberately irredeemable, that’s the whole point. But to kill her off? I have big doubts about that.
However, I also have to acknowledge the elephant in the room. As incredible as Patty has been over the years, she can’t just be expected do it forever and ever. She’s a human with a life of her own, other gigs to do, other avenues to explore, and then there’s the prospect of retiring, sitting back and getting to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
I think when you have a game that’s lasted for as long as WoW has, people need to understand that the team that once held this project together will eventually move on. This is also a problem with other shows that have lasted a very long time, where it becomes more and more difficult to keep the plot and the story (and even the characters) consistent. We see this type of thing happening with shows like The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, and the Young and the Restless. (Whether you like them or not is beside the point. They are shows that have simply outlived their cast, yet continue to go on and on and on and on).
Which brings up the million dollar question. Are they going to kill her? I will be completely shocked if they do. I’m hoping not. But at the same time, WoW has outlived its own cast time and again. I think it is very much a possibility that she is being written out of the story. Maybe not killed off, but I can’t help but feel something is going to happen.
Whatever does happen at the end of the raid, I want to personally thank Patty, Christie, and Steve for the ride. It was fun while it lasted, and I hope Sylvanas can return again some day.
But but…
Screw that tree, I am glad it burned. If she managed to kill Mal on top of that she may have actually ended the war, thus saving way more innocent lives than it cost. I like Sylvanas, she got things done. She is a conqueror with a tactician’s mind!
