See like this already is just proving my point. What if he gripped someone else in and was cc’d on the grip attempt to me? What if he trinketed but that still ate up time? What if I was positioned near a pillar like I of course would be and simply cut the corner after? What if charge was pressed quick enough that my movement backward was faster than his movement forward due to a slow or any other arbitrary reason?
See again like obviously you’re bothered but clearly you just are thinking too one dimensionally. Or you just rhetorically asked the question to make fun of him which I get and I’m good with but… you acting like it’s impossible to thwart that grip is just wrong. And again,

it stops being worth a point by point engagement with this blather. semantics are not your point’s ally because there are a wide spread of reasons for a dk to not have a second grip while going for the setup that fdk evoker needs to win the game and all of them are misplays on the part of the dk, with the exception of, i guess, your team being double caught in a grip setup that you evade by wild charging the grip so that you can bash into ibf or clone into ams. avoiding the grip didn’t help you avoid the loss in that scenario, so it doesn’t matter

Yeah I def wouldn’t waste time stunning or cloning when every dk in the world presses buttons to avoid those. Which is why I took PotG and spam healed my team from 45 yards. Thanks for the outstanding insight though homie
