I play for the roleplay. My raiding days are behind me, same with my PvP days. Bc, draenor, legion, and bfa were my raiding days. Vanilla, wrath, cata, draenor I did a lottttt of PvP. As I’ve gotten older, progression has become less important. I’m just here for meeting people and making stories now
Kinda weird how many people in this thread state whether they do/don’t raid, then feel the need to immediately qualify their response.
it’s not weird, it’s people trying to add to the discussion. a thread of 50 people just saying “i don’t” would be pretty dull!
I dont raid because most people want to rush through and zerg everything with out doing the mechanics, which means wipes
…as to take trolls seriously.
I don’t do either.
First off, why are you nakey?
I raid. But just lfr. I have zero interest in the same content only harder. So I don’t M+ or do organized raiding
I haven’t done organized raiding since Trial of the Grand Crusader. I don’t do M+ because I spammed dungeons back when Emblems/Badges were a thing and constantly churning through the same dungeons was as dumb then as it is now. I have been a sub on-sub off casual since 2009 and am perfectly happy to have accomplished absolutely nothing of note in WoW since 2008.
When I do WoW, I do what’s available out in the world (once for a Horde toon, once for Alliance), do the Heroics a few times each, take the LFR route once to see the raids, and that’s it. That’s worth $78 twice a year from me.
Edit: I got this guy to 62 when DF launched and then stopped cold. Just gonna wait until the last raid patch is in and come back to it.
I have not raided in a few years. M+ is awesome and works well to progress my character.
Because I wanna be!
yes, yes it is
Think it’s just trying to show others their perspective. Not that deep lol.
I do the lfr once in order to see cut scenes and finish off quests. I do not raid on a regular basis anymore.
Not like this doesn’t happen in M+, although I will grant that it’s pretty unlikely in a 6.
6s either go in 10 minutes, or 40 minutes.
LOL
I gave up hunting for gear on any characters back in BfA. It became too grindy for me at that point.
So I spent 650K gold upgrading all my heirlooms to level 70 and left it at that.
Once a character hits level 70, I stop playing it. I have a lot of lower level characters that keep me busy.
So I no longer do dungeons, M+ or Raid.
I do dabble in PvP at lower levels. I still have a few PvP heirlooms to collect.
I don’t do M+ OR Raid.
Better than me.
I despise leveling LOL
lol there is no way the overwhelming majority want that. I find it hard to believe that anyone would vote for that, let alone the majority. It would be an absolutely boring game that everyone would be burned out on in one week. It’s not even fun to spend every day in dungeons, subs would drop by 90% instantly if they announced that. Watch any guild, halfway through the xpac they are already beyond burned out on mythics, with all this other stuff available to do. Not to mention that you can already just do that at max level, you don’t have to do anything else. I get that raiding is a chore, it’s rough on me too, as several days a week i only get a few hours sleep for work, but I like it, and a lot of us do.
Your armory shows you in Shadow spec. That’s meta, whether or not you intend to move on and reroll with the next balance changes, whether or not you play with friends who are non-meta. You’re lucky that you hit the jackpot with this patch.
said with non meta comps, not them specfically being a non meta spec.
