Anyone else notice /who will work like once but freezes up after that?
Yea, It does one search then just doesn’t work?? Idk whats wrong with it. Plenty of bugs in tbc rn
“Not functioning” seems to be the overall theme for TBC:C right now.
Agreed I’ve noticed the same problem no idea why
You using any UI addons like ElvUI?
/who will never come back as reliable. Not working - as intended. Ask all the classic api server websites back in p1 hoping to use it to count players, faction stuff. Blizzard dislikes such transparency in sub use
I had the issue last night trying to search with just words, but it worked more reliably using the prefixes. I was trying to find how many were on in a guild and got nothing until putting the g- prefix. Then it popped immediately.
But just typing a name into it would freeze up after one search.
Maybe just being finicky.
I do, if it’s a known issue.
LFG tool when.
I think they disabled the ability for addons to query /who. Probably to break census type addons. Try disabling your UI replacement addon. Log in and out one full time and then try entering /who commands or using window. Unfortunate, but ElvUI was the root issue for me. I’m hoping they will come up with a more precise solution to this at some point.
Yes, this has been happening to me too. It’ll function fine like once or twice then freeze up anytime I try to use it thereafter. Haven’t tested with it too much so I’m not sure how long it takes before it starts working again, or if I have to relog before it works again.
Ah, maybe. But I’d much rather not have /who than ElvUI. lol

I didn’t test it, but you could try /reloadui between who calls and see if that works. I mean not really a solution, but it’s something.
