I don’t raid anymore so…
I did it on heroic soon after it came out in a pug and then just did it a few more times afterwards when friends wanted to pug it. Easy.
me… guild has killed him several times on heroic just not me bc they raid to dam early on saturday mornings bunch of old dads lol
Me. Graphics are poor and I don’t have a guild to do it with, as well as not liking pugging or LFR since I realized just how un fun it is.
Just pay gold for a carry to get the mount and be done with it. It’s under 100k and there is no prestige associated with killing a heroic boss anyway so it’s not like there’s anything to be ashamed of.

Didn’t like visions and such to spam these. And for my needs the close to 450 my chars are starting to top out at does me fine for my needs.
Mount hunt…I got lots I don’t use. It probably just join them.
Maybe some of my VE would like it. But 2 of 4 are going to get a high elf/blood elf make over. Other 2…can live life without the mount lol.
Our guild killed it on normal. But a couple people died outside the entrance to the last part and didn’t get credit. I feel kind of bad for them because the guild doesn’t want to do it again.
I just got my ahead of the curve today.
And I totally earned it… didn’t pay for a carry at all… nope…
It’s an ugly encounter for an ugly boss. LFR, normal, heroic or mythic… it’s all ugly. I’d rather be bit by a dog than deal with another fight of that magnitude.
Considering I haven’t logged on to retail for more time than to claim my free mounts in the mail for being subbed since Classic dropped, and don’t even have the Wrathion cloak, I’d definitely be on this list.
Normal is easier then lfr. Hell, m is easyer them lfr (h… probably not, lol). Just find a groups that’s up to him. With the item power creep most raids that get to him can kill him in a few trys after the mechanics are known and the noobs get kicked
Hell, i joined a h last week that was at car. We nuked him first try and did nzoth on the first try with no deaths. dont think anyone got under 60% hp In any of the fights, a mix of epic healers/tanks and people that knew what to do and when to do it
I did not make this thread to smear LFR. I enjoy LFR.
However, the N’zoth fight is ridiculous. How it hasn’t been tuned by now just speaks measures about how much the devs care about live. Carapace isn’t much better. The amount of groups I get into where a few pustules are left on a tentacle outside and everyone rushes inside only for them to burst and one shot the raid is insane. Yes, THAT is a simple mechanic, but it’s been months and no one seems to get it.
Whereas N’zoth isn’t just mechanics. It’s genuinely too much for LFR in the current state. I’d gladly go back and do Spine/Deathwing LFR again, even though it often ended with most the raid dead.
LFR N’zoth is just ridiculous. It’s by far the hardest LFR boss we’ve had, to the point it’s borderline impossible unless you get into a perfect group.
Done it on quite a few!
Easiest way is to just lead the party, it it looks like people are flailing about.
I pretty much only LFR when doing raids, and based on the horror stories, I’ll be skipping this one.
Me lol. I took a break from the game and my guild is already in N’zoth heroic right now, and I honestly don’t feel like catching up because the whole 8.3 doesn’t feel as good as other raiding patches.
I’ve tried to clear it in LFR but ran into the same problem of the OP. It is extremely difficult for all the wrong reasons. It is a fight that everyone no exception should do the mechanics correctly. In other fights, even if 1/3 of the raid underperforms, they can still be carried somehow.
Even the prospect of “learning” the mechanics of N’zoth LFR isn’t feasible, because by the time the underperforming players manage to get a grip, many of the other players doing good would already give up and leave, giving room for new people that are clueless. And the cycle repeats… That’s how you spend over 1h in one single fight with 10 stacks of determination… And still can’t beat it.

Mythic Skittra is easier than LFR N’Zoth, especially using the wall method.
And once you get those 475 pieces? LFR N’Zoth becomes possible, usually within 20 wipes!

Could you clarify this one? Sounds like it needed a ticket if they were there and didn’t get credit. Being dead shouldn’t stop that.
I think they mean some people died before they pulled and so got locked outside of the encounter.

Me! I haven’t yet. I probably will buy a carry though for the mount lol. A bit harder on the pocketbook but much, much better for my blood pressure.
