Who else still hasn't killed N'zoth?

I didn’t kill him with my guild because my computer was too bad to do Normals and be a contributing member of the raid, so I didn’t want to be a burden.

I’ve now attempted him in LFR over a dozen times, each time going well over 10 stacks of determination, and still have yet to beat him. My last group took 6 attempts to kill Carapace, even.

So, who else is in the “No N’zoth Kill” Club?

I bought one once. Does that count?

I haven’t.

I simply do not care enough to try.

BfA hasn’t been a very fun expansion for me. I ran out of steam in 8.2.

So what happens to these groups? Do you quit them? Do they fall apart?

I put it off for a while and decided to get it done and the group struggled at first but after 7 or 8 stacks and some people cycled in and out we got it done. Only took 1 lfr. Am I just lucky?

I quit after a few hours of attempts. I can’t sit at my computer for 4+ hours for a single boss kill, I need to stand up and walk lol.

I’ll usually get 8-10 attempts in at 10 Determination.

Not even worth it at this point. You’re not missing much.

Do you mind if I ask what specs you have?

EDIT: BTW, if your guild hasn’t carried you through Normal at this point just so you have the kill, considering they should have it on farm… I mean… you might want to get another guild lol. I dunno.

I just got a new computer this week. So I don’t know the laptop specs. This one runs wow decently. Much better than my laptop did, at least. :stuck_out_tongue:

If my guild runs Normal again for our fun run nights, I’ll probably tag along and try for a kill that way.

Oh, they would have brought me through it. There were a few fun run nights of Normal. I just don’t like feeling like a burden, so I stepped out of raiding halfway through BoD cause my laptop decided to stop running WoW decently.

I’m pretty sure they have AotC, and have started a bit into mythic, but I could be wrong.

I haven’t even tried it. I generally work night shift and maintain those hours when off of work so there are less people around to do end game stuff.

Work had been chaotic with a lot of overtime so I don’t join guilds to do content because I can’t maintain a schedule. I tried LFR before but I don’t like sitting in a queue all night just to have half the group full of deadbeats that don’t even try when it does pop.

I have been off this week and it’s been real nice. Next week back to work and 16 hour shifts so I won’t be in the mood to play even when off.

I love how persistent this smear against lfr is. If it were even remotely true, no bosses would ever die.

LFR N’Zoth is harder than mythic!

Watch Fatboss video on Normal N’Zoth. Go for Normal. It will be easier. You’ll spend a lot less time instead of wiping.

Stop it. I have no problem with the concept of LFR. Lets be honest though…there are plenty of people who queue up and you can tell they aren’t trying. Don’t even try to deny it.

If wanting a character by character answer, most of mine have not, but I intend to try and get them through before SL pre-patch.

I’ve gotten him down to 20% on normal and I have only gotten to cara on Heroic, but I have to do it in PuGs and PuG leaders are literal cancer.

The normal leader was a fire mage getting pissy that people didn’t have higher than 35k DPS. Which makes sense until you realize that only half the group had 35k DPS (exactly half in fact). This is because the bottom group (which this guy was in) would consistently take too long to kill Psychus and the top group would get nuked. Then the bottom group would refuse to wipe and so everyone who was dead had their DPS drop by 15K. Jokes on him though because I had second highest DPS until I died, and he kicked me anyways. Bitter AF though.

As for the Heroic, people were kicking the eye stalk of that cara summons in the first phase of the fight, the tanks couldn’t hold aggro on the adds from the tentacle, and nobody focused the tentacle tumors, so after about 1.5 hours of trying some hot shot 480 monk PuGs in, takes leadership when the previous leader left, and kicks everyone.

There is so much here. First how much is ‘plenty?’ And what do you mean by not trying? Are they afk? Auto attacking? Not performing to their upmost ability? Not eating stat food?

I’m not sitting there scrolling through meters after every fight. If the boss dies with a minimum of fuss who cares if a couple of people are slacking? What are they getting out of it? If the group keeps struggling, the slackers get called out and replaced.

i haven’t done it, I am terrible at dungeons and raids

Did it once on my main for LFR to complete the quest (took me about 4hrs), and that’s it. The fight is boring as hell.

The cloak quest burned me out of N’zzie as the big bad for this expac. I might do him on LFR with a lot of liquor.
