I’m pretty sure the Hunter set is great for its intended purpose… PvP.
But yeah otherwise, thankfully for me the Druid set is insane for Druid tanking but its pretty worthless for the Resto Druids (who are like 90% of the Druid population).
It’s actually crap. Most of the pieces lack int, which seems like not a big issue for pvp, but having enough mana to fight multiple targets either at the same time or in succession does matter quite a bit
The backwood helm is 10x better than blue pvp helm. Now the legs and chest of the blue set can somewhat rival ogre forged haubrek and leggings of destruction…if they were to have int. Gloves are strictly worse than devilsaur. They have slightly better stam but that can be made up in other slots. And like I said, set bonuses are pretty bad
I could see how Druid set could be insane for tanking, it seems blizz liked to sneak in dodge chance onto pvp gear
Wrong. You are looking at the phase 6 version, not the phase 2 version. If you look at the phase 6 versions, the pieces look insane (+2% crit chest? Yes please!)
Source? Have you gone in game to look at gear from vendors? Blizzard has said many many times we’re getting 1.12 itemization. The PvP sets were no exception.
Pretty sure this has been discussed multiple times before, and it was pointed out that wowhead and atlas were both wrong about the release date for 1.12 pvp gear.
Wowhead has one set which is between the T0 and T1 gear in terms of stats (chest has 1% crit +28atp for example) listed as being released in content phase 2
It has a different version of the same set being released in phase 6
Let’s look at the phase 6 blue helm: 2% crit, 18agi, 9int, 14 stam, that’s better stats than giantstalker
