That’s not going to effect any aspect of the game that I care about. Not my problem.
Maybe it’s just me but I feel like I always quit Season 1 at the start. Maybe Xpacs are just too time consuming and overwhelming.
I’ll be too busy playing TWW to bother with some other game…especially one that’s weirdly based on a tumorous medical condition.

I’d prefer experiencing the launch of each expansion because that’s when everyone is at their full enthusiasm and everything is fairly new and mysterious.
Why would you wait until Warthin is in Timewalking to play it?
IMHO, only S1 and last season are worth playing.
S1 for BG leveling and S4 for raiding.
The catch ups/stupid high ilvl jumps between seasons and the final fated season make mid seasons worthless.
So that’s what I’ll be doing from now on, unless the gearing philosophy changes a lot (it won’t).
You could play Warthin this year and when Time Walking: Warthin is eventually added you could play that. I don’t see how they’re mutually exclusive.
I didnt have problem with S1 all you had to do is world stuff in week one and get all the purple gear and mythic 0s , but i might not even play the new expack, i might just play cata
