Who else is gonna cancel sub if we cant get flying immediately with 8.2 release?

Imagine frustrating a playerbase with a bad/unfinished expac, not doing something like releasing flying early to reward your loyal fanbase (right Lore?) while popular new smash hit games keep dropping from your competitors.

You ain’t getting a good chunk of the ones who left back Blizz, I’m telling you.

Is this seriously what you think? I can tell you that as far as I personally am concerned, you’re 100% unequivocally wrong.

I’m not opposed to Pathfinder. I’m not opposed to putting in effort. I’m not opposed to flying being gated behind the various things necessary to complete the steps of Pathfinder. I’ll jump through their hoops.

I simply feel it is unnecessary and accomplishes no worthwhile purpose whatsoever to push it all out so very far. It sincerely seems deliberately petty on Blizz’s part for them to make everyone wait this long.

BFA worst expansion ever.

We can fly now BFA best expansion ever!

Flight isn’t a magical switch that makes the game fun. I play because I enjoy playing. Flight is a convenience nothing more. It makes getting around a little faster but doesn’t bring any meaningful gameplay mechanics with it. If flights a dealbreaker then you were always playing the wrong game.

Uhmm, no. That poster said he thinks people are complaining because they want to put in as little effort as possible into anything. I responded to him and laid out very clearly in explicit detail how that I am not opposed to any of the plethora of steps necessary to complete Pathfinder. And then you chime in to say that based on the replies he got, he’s 100% right.

On what planet, in what alternative Universe does your perception of this make any remote sliver of actual sense?

I agree with you. I have always thought a better way would be to have the parts be area specific. IE Part 1 would unlock flight in launch zones and Part 2 (even if they added more requirements to it) would unlock flight in the new area(s).

I don’t mind doing the things, because I would be doing the things anyway… I would even be willing to do more things if it weren’t a matter of “Did all the things and still waiting.”

How does flying remove the effort? To get to 120 I still have to earn the same amount of experience as everyone else. To gear up I still have to run the same dungeon/raids as everyone else. To grind the rep I still have to do the same WQ as everyone else.

What…?! My mind is literally twisting in on itself trying to understand how your mind is perceiving all of this.

Again, I’m not opposed to doing things to complete Pathfinder in order to gain flying. I’ll jump through their hoops. I’ll do whatever they want. I just don’t see any worthwhile point in being made to continue waiting for so long into the expansion.

I have a total of 32 characters. Blizz get’s my log in and played time metrics with flying when I lvel 31 more toons through BfA. Flying- which is fine being gated and earn or simply bought for gold, SHOULD be out by 1st patch of an expansion for anyone that has done it.

The last three expansion for me have been getting what I need for flying and then not logging on for half a year (or 9 months this time). That’s the strangest set up for a company to make profit I have ever heard.
