Bottom of the OP.
Bunch of unanswered questions.
…why are you asking already-answered questions? I get that you want Battlegrounds at launch and not Dire Maul, but responding to being given information with “I’m going to demand the answer again until you get it right!” is an excellent way to justify them not communicating.
No. He’s one of the forum trolls.
Well, there are still a metric ton of community questions that have gone largely unanswered.
Will you be sticking with the 4-wave content progression plan despite community backlash?
Will you be sticking with sharding despite community backlash?
Will you be sticking with right-click reporting despite community backlash?
Will you be sticking with loot sharing despite community backlash?
What about itemization? Will that be progressive or will all items be as they were in 1.12?
Which version of AV will we be getting?
Any word on the discrepancies we’ve found on the demo?
Thank you for your consideration, and increasing the number of blue posts we’ve been getting lately.
Do you know which version of Alterac Valley they’re looking at? If it’s 1.12 by default, then…I’ll be disappointed, but I promise not to ask the question again after it’s been answered. Alterac Valley was significantly overhauled in ways that were pretty controversial even at the time (removing Korrak, for example).
I’m ready to get ready for an attunement run!
Are you guys going to ruin the game with sharding still?
Will server names/types/total numbers of servers be announced before launch, or will it be more of a “surprise” at launch?
An update would be great but I am also part of the “Very excited but willing to be quiet and patient” group. The classic community asking for updates is like the kid in the backseat asking “are we there yet”.
Blizzard knows how impatient a lot of us are, but asking the same questions over and over again isn’t going to win them over.
And when they eventually give us a solid update, it won’t be because they gave in from being asked 800 times, it will be because they are ready.
What about some info about Oceanic servers?
Need atleast one PvP oceanic server.
I realize you’re only allowed to tell us things when given permission… BUT…
There’s a fairly sizable number of design decisions that are almost assuredly locked in, this late into the development cycle that could be answered, if you guys where so willing to divulge.
The version of AV, for example, is almost assuredly decided at this point.
Things like raid/party size of UBRS is another.
There’s probably a good 30 or more things you could easily give the Dev’s design decisions on, that would help those of us in the community get past certain issues of contention, and focus more on discussing topics that as of yet are NOT decided issues.
Evidently Ireland defines Summer as starting May 1 and ending on August 1.
“Meteorological Summer” for the Northern Hemisphere Starts June 1st and ends August 31st.
We currently are in “Meteorological Summer” for the Southern Hemisphere until the end of this month, and will be again in December.
How late of a summer is October?
Why can’t we simply allow Bornakk to view the outstanding questions listed in the sticky at the top of the forum? Isn’t that kind of why we did it?
I mean the whole point of it was so that folks like Bornakk could view it without all of the nonsensical chaff that is occurring in this thread.
So, she will deep breathe less?
And then you can stealth buff her at random later.
and we haven’t even touched upon how George RR Martin defines summer.
I’ve always defined summer as Early May to Late august.
Many Americans would typically peg it as being the time between Memorial day at the end of May and running through to the Labor Day weekend at the start of September. But that just shows how flexible the definitions actually are.
What has been answered and where?
They gave us a ‘current thinking’ slide at Blizzcon…is that what you are considering an answer?
I don’t even want Battlegrounds at launch. Just looking for a real update.
