Who are your favorite forum posters?

It seems i don’t like a lot of posts…

Too much effort, i tire quickly.

You know i still have no idea how i have TL3 on these forums, i absolutely do not fulfill or maintain the prerequisites. Maybe the mods just like me.

I wonder if we could play a version of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon with forum likes.

probably?

I also need to up my likes game.

Which reminds me that I do wonder how he is doing. The down side to that thread turning into a mess is that now we don’t hear the updates :frowning:

I’ve spoken to him recently. He’s doing better but not fully back yet. He has been active on here a few times, though.

Grumbles, Nericaryn, Simplyred, Rita, Grumbles [Did I already mention Grumbles? Have him again!], Zandrae, Fuzzbutt [The Warlock one!], Maizou, Mythosaur, Rosenivy, Willowbloom, Malgorok, Shreds, Annora, Naughtymoon, Mute, Shadybolt, Nui, Heriovale, and Fenelon. The list continues on for several more scrolls.

All posters I enjoy hearing from. They’re all very lovely people.

He is doing better, and he’s on the path to wellness. He’s dealing with severe bruising and some slipped discs, from what he told me.

that’s great to hear that he’s improving. Hoping for the best for him.

Perl is my fav poster. I remember on the old forums she used to post 10x as much. Then became MVP when MVPs came out. Then there was the Night Elf hunter Snowcat who posted a lot but I have not seen that poster in a real long time, also an MVP. Maybe they quit or moved onto a new toon.

I don’t think my likes adhere to how I feel about an individual, just their statements in accuracy or otherwise relevancy to me. Or it’s just nice in general I suppose, maybe even funny to me or at the least amusing.

Not really related to the forums specifically, but I do enjoy former-forums poster Metrohaha’s stream when he is having rough pugs :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

When he rages over a leaver or toxic pug he can get pretty worked up on-stream, it’s good entertainment imo

Pretty much just those who put in the time to really discuss thoughtfully and/or hammer out stuff within a given class thread, catch the occasional mistake in discussion without being stuffy about it or offer humor without derailing, and can lay their thoughts out thoroughly and appreciably.

I miss that guy who was always talking in character about trying to make his orc wife happy

You’re thinking of Snowfox, who was a priest.

They either quit the game or just quit the forums. People hated Snowfox sooo much.

After a quick search i can’t even find their character. Or at least their character as i remember them. There is a Nightborne priest in there named Snowfox which gives me pause.

I remember distinctly they always had engineering goggles and some classic nax shoulder and robes transmogged.

Or the one guy from over a decade ago who pretty much wrote a full novel on these forums where he would write a little more to his story everyday and it was his own fiction story. He wrote a lot too. Did a full story that people liked. Have tried to look for that story from time to time but still am unable to find it.

Hello, I see you posted a thread about popularity. I love all of the great posters on the fantastic World of Warcraft General Discussion Forums equally! Lately though, and I’m not sure as to why, there are some posters that openly say they hate me! I do not understand this and it does sadden me to a degree. Here’s hoping that I’ll eventually turn them around to see all of the fun I’m trying to bring to the forums!

Thanks for your post and have a great day!

Perl is a he. MVPs started way back in early game forum days. Perl was made a TS/CS MVP in Nov of 2019 and the is the newest of any MVP for WoW. He most certainly was not part of the program when it came out.

All other MVPs in CS/TS have been there many years (2013 for me), and the Community MVPs were last brought in during 2018.

What I will agree with, is that Perl is awesome and a huge help to many folks.
