This is kind of a fun exercise to take part in.
Maagi (stream name, I even use it for my nickname since I don’t like people knowing my real, boring name).
In WoW, I’m Rhuor Stormfeather, a Tauren Druid who has been on Azeroth since before the opening of the Dark Portal. I started on Tanaris since that was the realm it defaulted me to when I first booted up the game but I now live on Wyrmrest Accord. I plan on retiring here.
I’m both casual and hardcore. I love raiding but lately I burn out quickly after we get our AotC achievement because I begin questioning why do I run this if I don’t get loot and the challenge is gone. But I also love to collect everything in this game; mounts, pets, toys, achievements, transmog. And though I don’t do it much in game, I love to create stories for all of my characters tree is. I’m an amateur writer.
Also, I have an army of alts. Aiming for 30 and we’ll see if I stop there.
I want a better story. The writing has been subpar and sometimes downright awful for quite a few expansions, and it’s sad to see the state of the lore.
I also would like the sheer overwhelming amount of RNG to be removed, along with the forever grind. I don’t like AP at all.
I like the discussion. Plus it distracts me at work when I’m feeling overwhelmed.

I am Zaela. The orc imposter is dead to me. I have a love of animals and science fiction/fantasy and a strong disgust (but not distaste) for gnomes.
Im mostly here for the story, as I love games with very deep stories and mysteries. WoW, Halo, Elder Scrolls, etc.
I wish they would bring back Wrath style DKs and get rid of gnomes. Or maybe give gnomes to the horde, then I can at least legally kill and eat them.
I like arguing with senseless people and making rando funny posts on the forums. But I also like discussing future plot points and lore. And I am proud in my ability to identify a Mortis post by the name of the thread.
Lowkey, Archaeology is a great profession that needs more attention.
I am female and can’t play a male character, it is just strange to me for some reason. Not sure if that makes me sexist or what lol.

people that have been here a really, really long time might remember wavebeam or vaztor and both of those are me too
I was a hardcore raider when I first started (we broke into the US top 50 at one point!) but I don’t think I’m quite good enough to do any kind of mythic raiding nowadays. Still, I enjoy raiding in general, and I like M+. Both of these things are enough to keep me subbed.
Honestly, I think the faction war is super overdone, and I’d like to see some resolution on that front. It seems like we’ve come to this point a lot where it’s like, “Okay, we’ve banded together to stop this world-ending threat, hooray,” but inevitably someone does something dumb and we slide back into the same old conflicts.
There’s always someone cool to talk to. I’ve seen a lot of faces over the years, but the one constant is that there’s always someone you can point to and be like, “yeah, you’re rad.” It is also often the case that the forums are more interesting than the game itself.

All my toons are female. Ive only played one male toon and that was as a joke back when we played swtor.
ps: I play WoW with my husband and im in my 30’s as well.

Not sexist. It just means that your relationship with your characters is one that leans more towards personal identification and away from dissociation. I can play female characters because I treat them as separate entities, not extensions of my personal self. But not everyone experiences WoW the same way, and that’s 100% okay.

What types of things do you like to do in WoW?
This has changed with me. Originally, enjoyed raiding and (coerced) PvP when we started in July 2006. As my guild has melted away, I’m now an ultra casual who works on alts and being a powerful hero in past expansions I now out-gear. A cheap but satisfying thrill.
What do you wish would be added or changed?
Like many, I wish pathfinder was a zone by zone unlock rather than the ongoing exercise in spite by Blizz. I wish I had the courage to RP in game but I don’t so I keep it to stories I write.
What do you like about the forums?
There are so many bright, funny and quirky people here and it is always wonderful to see how differently people perceive things and the possible solutions that arise from these differences. As the saying goes, if two people always agree, one is redundant.

Viking Santa–otherwise known as Vadimier, Vad, Mad Vad (because WARRIOR) and Logan, because my Dad is a wolverine fan boy.
Mythic dungeons/raid. I used to enjoy exploring the world and doing the dailies in wotlk -> MoP but I’ve put too much time into the game to find that stuff particularly interesting anymore.
Though, I do still read everything the first time through a zone.
I’d like the class design to be improved–which they are working on–and for the world to somewhat matter again outside of boring grinds.
I can get on ESO and have fun by doing nothing but questing. That doesn’t happen in WoW much anymore.
The intelligent and/or silly conversations we occasionally have. They’re very enjoyable.

Hey I’m Sheldon, and this toon here (my main) is my Troll alter ego Shelldin.
My wowing is primarily based around the fact that i’m a slave to the mount count. So if i’m not collecting mounts i’m most likely setting up my characters to make it easier to farm mounts later.
I also enjoy all things troll related and collected everything i can, from a stack of the grey item “troll sweat” to Troll themed mogs to dino mounts.
As far as changes i’d like to see i’d also enjoy pathfinder being available earlier.
I’d also like like to see a shift away from “borrowed power” systems and back to permanent additions to our characters.
Some other random changes/additions would be: a new org design that’s more reminiscent of old org, customization that opens up all troll races to be playable, voodoo themed spell effect glyphs, and a “Witch Doctor” player title
Helps me feel like i’m still apart of wow even during times i’m actually burnt out on the game. A lot of fun personalities her

i love wpvp and just pvp in general. most my focus when not doing that is achievement hunting and collecting everything i dont have in game. im closing in on 30k achieve points. have over 420 mounts. almost 500 toys. etc etc lol

personally i wish they would take flying out of game. though its kinda to little to late. i even have grown used to having it. but i feel it ruined wpvp and the economy overall in game.

jk just a guy named Drew, i am often called bear irl though.
Medieval fantasy, somethin to grasp on without taking a entire year just to get an idea of what it is (Warhammer has too much lore to learn!)
but mostly i stayed because i mained a dk and decided to play hawke here for fun.
but in short, i like to do some pvp and pve stuff, just not hardcore raiding, (Most i met there are jerks… literally)
Few races here and there, take away the faction borders and just flat out let dk’s change there eye colors! (oh and more hair options)
I’m weird and that is okay here!
that and people i know irl tend to be not so interest in my things and tend to either pity nor have anything of interest for me to hang out with them.

Nowadays I like to sit around and stare at the sky. When not doing that I’m either a LFR hero, Mount collector and/or Transmog junkie

I want playable Ogres, always wished to play one of those lovable two-headed fatties 
Also want more Scythes accessible to Death Knights and not just Lazer Chickens or Warlocks. In fact some of the Warlock artifact appearances would look nice on a DK

Tough question, I really don’t know, I just read and post during work to pass the time away. I do miss some of the old forumers that used to be here like Korojin, Snowfox etc.
