I see so many new faces around General Discussion! Who are you? What types of things do you like to do in WoW? What do you wish would be added or changed? What do you like about the forums?

Who are you?
Jennifer, also known as my main character, Thallia! (Please don’t feel you have to post your real names! I only did because there’s a billion Jennifers in the world. Hehe. But I don’t want anyone to be uncomfortable!)
What types of things do you like to do in WoW?
Transmog is life! I love my guilds and hanging out with them.
What do you wish would be added or changed?
I’d like to see changes to Pathfinder so that part one unlocks original expansion content and part two unlocks patch content.
Lots of other stuff, but I’m not going to write a novel.
What do you like about the forums?
I enjoy the continuous scrolling, the ease of quoting and I enjoy everyone’s posts. It’s like a little family here!
Usually go by “Hey you idiot”, or “That annoying undead”. Other than that, some know me as Agustina, from the far away lands of Argentina (figured I’ll follow along with the name thing.)
I play a lot of alts.
Decent lore.
They distract me. I like distractions.
Also, I just noticed you play on the realm I originally started playing on. Random I know.

I do a bit of everything. I’m GM / raid leader / team captain of my guild, but we’re a heroic raiding only guild. So what we do is get AOTC, then I focus on getting the rest of the time sensitive PvP trophies I want, and then I coach others and try to help them achieve the same thing when they stream their games in our discord. And once all of that’s done, I RP, as I enjoy creative writing.
To put it simply, I’d like more emphasis to go back into guild life, and PvP balance. Those are my two major gripes with the game in the current moment.
It’s a place of discussion. I know most people probably despise me because I tell a lot of people to get over it, but eh. It’s how I feel sometimes.
I don’t know who I am, they couldn’t identify my corpse properly and I lost my memory
I don’t know exactly, I hate mobas and the mmoRPG games that I used to play are multi-account now and I don’t like to play in multiple accounts so I decided to stick in world of warcraft.
My current goal is achievements but I like pets battles and leveling.
I enjoy transmog, too. I also like hunting for secret pets and mounts!
I’d love it if, after we’ve done all the requirements, Pathfinder I simply allowed flying. They could handle PF II like they did in legion - cannot fly in a new zone (2nd big patch) until explored or main quest lines done.
I think it would be the bees knees if they implemented a “trial” mode in dungeons, playing against AI, so that folks who want to learn mechanics, routes and optimize their buffs/rotations for different affixes could do so in relative peace, without the “gogogogo” mentality.
Reading about things in the game, players solutions or ideas. I learn a lot here. I do not play to the depths that others do (just don’t have time) and its interesting to learn about. Also, yes, it’s a bit like a family here
Motors (not my main, just an alt)…no one get’s my first or last name IRL on any forums. Cyber Security is a top priority for me, suffice it to say i am an older male.
Level Alts, play the AH and PvP. 45 level capped toons and 1 waiting the boost from Shadowlands gives me plenty of options to have fun in game.
I want the GCD change reverted, it feels very punishing to not be able to go big and blow all cd’s at once when you are ready to dps hard on someone or something.
Silver Covenant added to the Alliance as playable (yep i went there). Ogres added to the Horde (might make me want to play the Horde more then i do now).
Alliance Lore and the bland pasty vanilla taste of the Alliance in general. I like the good guy aspect, don’t like what Blizzard has done with the faction and it’s blandness, there is a better way to do the Alliance.
Other things that i am sure will be covered along the way.
I enjoy seeing where everyone is coming from and the different opinions. I especially like the posters who say things matter of factly and very pointed to me and then tearing it a apart when the opportunity arises (love it when talking opinion vs. fact, so satisfying).
I like seeing some of the new ideas that come up and people’s perspectives about where the game should/could go. I also like seeing some of the art that comes along with that.
I like seeing some of the passionate arguments (whether i agree with it or not) and knowing the game has life in that passion. It gives the game a sense of community knowing people make an argument in the first place and take the time to share it.
This is an interesting thread and has potential, thank you for making it. Looking forward to seeing what everyone posts.
I like world quests. I like mat farming. I liked professions, back before soulbinding took over the mats and the decent gear alike.
I like flying around taking screen caps. I like mythic+ with friends. I raid, but that’s more a thing I do socially; I could give up raiding far more easily than mythic+.
I wish the dev attitude toward a lot of things would change. I’d like to see them embrace flying and design portions of the game for flight rather than vilifying flight. I’d like to see them step back from trying to push players into content they don’t enjoy, and instead trust that we’re all big kids who can decide what we find fun.
Mostly, I’d like them to focus more on making a good game and trust us to play it, even if we’re not playing it “as intended.”
I’m not giving out my real name as long as they live. My most common handle is Arcaneobserver.
My main interest is Roleplaying. I also enjoy leveling. Addendum: I also used to pvp, though I was never hardcore about it.
A random one off the top of my head is to allow Fury Warriors to use one handed weapon appearances on two handers; mainly because I rather dislike oversized weapons and often feel like duel wielding them looks ridiculous.

What types of things do you like to do in WoW?
Achievements, Legacy Dungeons, Transmog, Alts, Pets and Mounts. I also collect, and have twelve Bankers all holding ‘stuff’. I’m very organised, and have folders on my computer to keep track of where everything is, and who holds it.
What do you wish would be added or changed?
I’d love more unique, difficult to obtain rewards for those of us who farm Pets, Mounts, Achieves and Transmogs.
What do you like about the forums?
I love the community. Getting to know people, feeling pleased when Posters reply, and being involved in interesting discussions. I’m extremely introverted and asocial in Real Life, so you are all my social life. (Outside of work!)
