Vanilla warlocks definitely had a different awe factor.
In vanilla if you had good gear you could literally just do a curse of agony on someone and it would kill them if they couldn’t heal/remove it, or you could shadowbolt+shadowburn someone and it would kill them a lot of the time. AND fear did not have DR, it was a time.
Was soulburn added in cata or mop?
What was wrath chaosbolt like?
It had better animation. The damage was good but I dont remember exact numbers. Now the BEST thing was that chaos bolt always went through any shield, i.e. bubble, priest shield etc. straight to HP bar it would ignore shields. That was badass. Overall destro was even squishier than now though so in PVP barely anybody played it.
It wasn’t exaggeratingly high like chaos bolts now in terms of damage, it had a CD like 12 or 15 seconds iirc, was faster base cast, and ignored absorbs.
Also could by pass resistance since it was shadowflame.
Was wrath destro good? Didnt really play endgame in original wotlk.
