So, what tank is doing the best and which is doing the worst lol. I’m kinda trying to figure out if I should focus on my bear or war. I looked up a few tier list on youtube, but there all from a year ago at the beginning of this expansion. From those lists than prot pally was the way to go, is it the same? Out of war or bear which one is doing better or are they about equal?
For tank players what would you play?
For Healers what would you feel more comfortable seeing if you queued a dungeon?
Prot paladin is the easiest with good mitigation and aoe threat on point. They generally go for a slow weapon.
Warriors are overall just ok, they don’t have the threat of dk or the mitigation and aoe of paladins. They have some nice cooldowns.
Druids are not as good as they were in tbc and well thats just it.
Dk is my favorite. And though they are not as strong as the other tanks since their aoe isn’t as strong and they don’t have as many cds, the idea of tanking with shadowmourne does appeal. They have nice threat and seem to remind me of fury prot. But unless you have tanking experience in vanilla or such I wouldn’t suggest it to a new tank.
Prot pally and blood DK with everything else just being worse than those 2 at their niche.
DK’s bring more single target threat than any other tank and have more CD’s in icebound fortitude, ams, and vamp blood all on short CD’s… Have you even played WotLK? There’s a reason every raid guide recommends prot pallies and blood DKs. As for shadowmourne you’re literally griefing your raid if you take it over a DPS as other weapons are better for mit and threat is a joke.
I’m no expert, but Holy priests don’t bring anything a disc can’t bring and are just not as useful. Resto shaman and holy Paladin fill their shoes better. I like holy priest thematically but disc is just better.
