Struggling as Assassination on tier 8s with healer Brann at 623.
Is another spec better?
Brann is only level 48 so maybe that’s it.
Outlaw or Sub with Trickster Hero Talents.
Healer Brann.
take the choice node that makes Tricks of the Trade last for an hour.
put Tricks of The Trade on Brann during the first fight.
Now you have a Healer/Tank Brann.

I feel like it’s gotta be outlaw since you can reduce the cd on evasion/crimson vial right? Been a bit since I played it.

Do you really want healer Brann to tank tho?
I think Outlaw and Sin are probably better than sub.
Outlaw has insane uptime on invasion. Sin can use the garrote silence to reduce incoming damage more effectively.
You could maybe argue that Sub has better burst and therefore, if you are just waiting on your cd’s a lot, could clear harder content at a lower ilvl albeit slowly.

The problem is the bosses do so much damage once my cooldowns are off.
on any other class, no probably not.
but as a Rogue - yes, absolutely.
putting ToT on a Healer Brann makes your delve run 100% easier as a Rogue. generally speaking.
my go-to for Delves as a Rogue is Trickster Outlaw with ToT on Healer Brann.

It looks like you’re about 610 ilvl. what level delve?

I had pretty good success as sub on my rouge around 614ilvl. Forced healer Brann to tank, took it slow and waited for my CD’s to come up if I needed to for a hard pack. Sub burst is pretty nuts so bosses were the only real problem. If Brann went down I’d just pop evasion and get him back up. Boss normally died after that.
I started doing Tier 11 with Assassination/Fatebound with 632 gear + healer Brann. Make sure you buff with the campfire, wax on dagger + whetstone. Take it slow. The best upgrade for me was a dagger. Craft the best level Everforged Stabber you can.
Some delves suck. Try to find the ones that you like - the Undermined ones are good. Fungal Folly is a pain now due to the wolf boss.

Same problem on Mage. Until Blizzard let our CCs work on bosses this will continue to be a problem.

I am level 623 now.
Tier 8/9.
I’ve been doing 11’s on both sin and outlaw at 620ish ilvl without issue. I actually feel like sin is stronger than outlaw, but that might be because it’s more of a comfort pick for me. Either way, just keep the pulls sane and don’t be greedy with your cd’s and you should be fine.
Outlaw is great for delves because of how fast it gets evasion and vanish off CD.
Makes healer Brann your tank, and he does a good job of it.
The thing about this is Brann is much squishier than he was in S1, this will only get you so far. It’s also heavily dependent on what’s being pulled as well.
I can craft the 645 one.
I was gonna wait for the next one for Runed crests but maybe ill just do the 645 for now since mine is 619 currently.
I can do 11s has Sub rogue without much of a problem.
Sub’s ability to just delete opponents and even having Free Stuns makes delves largely smooth runs.
If you wanna play Sin, you probably wanna take advantage of kiting, since a lot of their dmg comes from the Poisons and Bleeds.

Do they have good AOE like Sin?
Yeah craft the 645 and recraft later when you get some gilded crests from 11s. I actually got a dagger from the delves so that helped hold me over until I can craft the gilded dagger.
