Oh right I forgot about recrafting!
With Trickster yeah, they do.
Trickster makes it so pretty much all your attacks Cleave on other targets.
Which ends up making Black Powder and Shuriken Storm largely irrelevant for Trickster, you only really use BP with 8+ targets, below that, just use ST rotation.
You do wanna spread Rupture though, but a talent makes it so it applies to two target, so two or three casts is enough.
I will give Sub a shot after I craft my dagger.
Btw to add to this, i use:
Healer Brann with, “Automatic Footbomb Dispenser” and “Pacific Rig”
AFD does good dmg (And tbh, satisfying), while PR makes you immune to dmg and also deals good dmg, both can be specially good for Sub to compensate downtime.
When I was doing assass rogue in delves I would focus on getting max dots then kiting trash. Just let them drain down and win. It’s slower but you’re safe. You can tricks Brann also to cover your hide.
Yup, both Sub and Outlaw focus more on direct dmg, while Sin is all about Dots.
Is Sub better than Sin in raids?
Because if I craft a dagger for sub Ill have to stick with it lol.
All 3 are pretty good right now, no idea if 4-set or higher gear will skew it more. It’s usually a safe bet that one of the dagger specs will do great in raids.
Assassin just suffers from being dot-heavy in any easy content. If stuff dies 1/3 of the way through a Rupture then there’s no point in applying it, or a full 5-stack of Deadly, and Deathmark is completely useless.
Hilariously, you HAVE to due to the way Sin’s Energy works.
Sort of, but it’s also much harder to play than sin.
However, if you’re asking that question, you are playing at the level where you can pick whatever spec is funnest.
I have never had any problems with my assn,he blows through pretty fast
Assassination.
Use healer Brann.
Tricks Brann.
Use the M+ build
Win
Honestly the 3 rogue specs are performing closer to each other right now than I’ve ever seen from a class in my 20 years of playing this game. It’s basically dealer’s choice, and I don’t know think either is really heads and shoulders above the other or a liability either. Theres debate to be had about which is harder or easier, but that’s about it
Iv been doing 11s solo as Outlaw
How dare you.
I only play sub. I’m using my ilvl 619 MH from last season. I think I’m ilvl 623 overall now. Haven’t gotten a weapon from the vault, ever. It’s fine.
I stay away from heavy melee bosses… Kobolds are out. Nerubians are generally good, except the skittering breach with Nerl’athekk (sp?) where he summons adds that buff his melee damage. That one is ouchies.
A hotfix the other day fixed Brann’s survivability, so generally it’s fine to tricks him, though I have not found it necessary. Since Dance drops threat, that works well enough for me. Maybe it’s different on bosses if you’re having survivability concerns, but I think having Brann tank bosses for extended periods is not ideal. If he dies and you’re forced to vanish, it will (should) reset the encounter.
I use Sub and set Brann to heal. Then I pretend it’s PvP.
I like Sub for Delves. Insane burst, just gotta kill em before you run out of defensives.
