The 50% rep boost event has finally started! What reps are you gonna grind?
I’m gonna work on Bloodsail Buccaneers and the Steamwheedle Cartel. Also, gonna catch up on DF renown. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for reminding me I was gonna work on that one too! I recommend Ogri’Lazy addon for that one daily quest with the colors.

Unless it’s just a typo, the announcement says the Rep buff is for Dragon Isles (except the mole people), so I guess Valdrakken Accord? Maybe Iskkar?

It’s only DF rep.

And the Insane title, like you mentioned is one of the reasons why it might never be game-wide.

Well, at least it’s a good thing I procrastinated on these DF reps.

it might be a bug, but right now you do get 50% rep for all other expansions
best do it quickly or it might get nerfed

I grinded out a load of netherwing eggs in preparation for the event.
So now im exalted with them which is awesome :slight_smile:
I also bought wod rep tokens on the AH to use for easy rep gains.

I think next is ogri’la

Are you saying that this is working for old xpacs?

Better be careful with this as they clearly said it was DF only…maybe it’s not, but don’t get banned for doing something you know could be a bug.

The buff in-game just says “Reputation Gain increased by 50% (Except Loam Niffen)” so I assume it’s for any rep. If it was only dragon isles i think it’d say like “Rep Gain for Dragon Isles increased by 50%”

I guess thats why I’m confused. The post on the forums said DF factions.

It still says: “and reputation gains by 50% for all Dragon Isles factions except the Loam Niffen .”

you will get the benefit of the Winds of Sanctuary buff*, which will increase experience gains by 50% for all players through level 70, and reputation gains by 50% for all Dragon Isles factions except the Loam Niffen (who are not quite sure what to make of these strange winds). It’s a great time to finish leveling a character, create a new one, or invite friends to join you in your adventures.

I’m leaning towards it just being a typo or poor wording in the announcement.

I think it was just poor phrasing on their end trying to convey that the niffen are excluded.
Or trying to hype up dragonflight reps.

I mean…if by poor you mean totally wrong and misleading then sure, lol. The “for” in there conveys that the 50% is FOR (the following) being DF factions.

But either way I am now annoyed because I don’t feel like grinding Avowed and Cobalt but since I have 119 exalted I might as well.

Its every rep other than niffen.
Today is got netherwing and all warlords reps to exalted using the buff.
