Which race fits the "Hunter" aesthetic the most?

I hate to say it but given that the vast majority of a BM’s damage is from a pet in melee range… hunter may not even rightfully be considered a ranged class now. Only 1 out of 3 specs is ranged to a meaningful degree. :-/

night elf pretty much fit all three hero talent tree fantasies. Sentinel is essentially a night elf, dark ranger any elf race, pack leader also night elf (embracing their feral side).
