Shaman or paladin? Do shamans still have their insane 1 shot burst like in classic?
an ele shaman in pve gear will melt people in bgs but it’s basically a glass cannon since you die if you get lovetapped. A ret can do decent damage, but they’re scarier when they have a resto sham dropping windfury for them
pom pyro mage
definitely shaman but they can be shut down easily
I think the best pvp class remains warlock
just go rogue
TBC has not even launched and people are already chasing the FotM.
Why don’t you just play what you like and stop trying to chase the magical unicorn.
People want to pick the top class and go ham. I don’t blame them. It actually sounds fun. Go into a BG and smash faces.
BGs as ret was so much fun. I recall globalling mages and rogues.
sl/sl Warlock
Those hurt. As a paladin, I never liked priests.
Frost mages are also still very strong
IF you get to hit them that is
Neither of those classes mate.
-Warlock
-Rogue
-Mage
These 3 classes can melt.
a t6 aff lock will delete your character
a t6 destro lock will delete your account
If melee is your style though go for warrior for pvp.
It’s not as hard as some make it out to be.
Only VS PVE geared players.
VS Resilience targets your crits are harshly nerfed.
As for “MELTS” people in PVP, enhance (if you like shaman) is better.
If you’re not married to shaman then Ret is really good, but has some hard counters like any other class namely a well played priest or lock.
Locks are freaking strong too, and actually really easy to play in the resilience meta.
Overall in TBC you can make darn near anything work if you’re wiling to put the time into learning the class spec you’re into, and are willing to gear for it.
Because it is fun to win.
Couchy
In TBC? A ret will murder you and perform exersism on your friend.
In the beginning of the xpac any class with a lot of burst does great, hunters, pom mages, pally. but when rez comes in and that crit chance disappears it becomes the rogues game again. CC is king.
