Alleria could not have saved them, that’s speculation at best. She can’t mass teleport she’s not a mage.
Not even a regular mage could have saved them. Jaina was taught this spell by khadgar. It’s the same teleport spell used to move Dalaran but on a smaller scale. She’s the only reason the Alliance leaders survived. That’s when Sylvanas’s plan changed.
Probably not a good idea to take anyone not Voided into a void portal.
Alleria even bypassed the field the Alliance ran from. While Jaina’s freezing the blight was fancy and all, it was unnecessary given Alleria opened portals right into the capital ruins to turn the tide against the Forsaken forces.
Last I checked Mekkatorque isn’t a Void Gnome.
For heself and her voided forces… she can travel and her forces can travel the void, that’s thier racial. But they can’t mage teleport.
See again Mekkatorque.
He was not even in the throne room… make sense Amadis.
Didn’t he and the Gnomes fly in on gyrocopters?
Alleria brought Mekkatorque in with a void portal with her when Nathanos remarked he was expecting to see her.
No. In fact, Alleria brought in the Gnome machinery through the void portals as well.
That’s dumb. There is so much stupid happening in that scenario. The people who wrote it shouldn’t be a part of writing Warcraft.
Okay but still man, that’s a gigantic leap.
Alleria literally uses what looks like mass teleport.
She uses one portal that they walk out of. The intention behind the trap cinematic was that they were in danger.
That was the freaking intent if the scene.
They could have all died. The Alliance isn’t flawless, of infalliable. They can be trapped and beaten by Sylvanas.
Only her and Mekkatorque, the rest of the units appear to be teleported in by void magic.
You are missing the point.
You are missing my point. Nathanos says he expected Alleria.
Yeah so they knew they could beat the Alliance. She was expected. They still tried to kill her and the rest if the Alliance leaders. You are not getting my point either. Sylvanas knew Alleria would take the bait.
Sylvanas didn’t have faith like you, that Alleria could save them.
(Actually nathanos didn’t aniticipate Alleria but was glad she’d get caught in the trap too)
Your logic isn’t adding up. Sylvanas has the field blighted, but expected that the Alliance could get by it, so that they could get into the capital? The only indication of anyone expecting the Alliance being able to was Nathanos’ remark to Alleria.
