Whats the pvp evoker spec? Dev or aug?
Arguably it’s Pres actually, but I’d say Dev over Aug unless you have a premade with some killer damage who can maximize your buffs, your average PUG player won’t benefit much from you being Aug though.

Highest rated Dev is 3300 so it is absolutely doable, though you might want to bring a damn preservation evoker along like you suggested to maximize and minimize your pug situation. Aug is seen as like tank specs, if you want to do it by all means but you are going to get some flak, even with skillcap saying its decent.
