Which do you play WoW for? PvP or PvE?

It’s evolved over the years. Currently, I focus mainly on solo PvE, but my passion/borderline obsession with PvP comes and goes depending on what else is going on and if I have a few friends to do BGs with.

After about 15 mists runs trying to get changeling with no success I can say I’ve swapped to pvp. On an entirely different character as well.

Going to dust off my assassination rogue and give him a run

PvE. I just like going from point A to point B without having to fight other players while getting there.

PvE.

The only reason I do PvP, despite it being godawful, is because I force myself through it because it rewards a cosmetic set I really want.

lmao.

PVP I deem more important… but do both, well haven’t done raiding since Denathrius.

PVE. There are games that do PvP better than WoW.

Little bit of both(ish) currently just meandering the open world doing dailies and playing catch up on my hunter and shaman while waiting for goblin Monks.

Occasionally with queue for rando BGs but this expansion just mindlessly meandering.

PVE only, have not done PVP since TBC. Just not what I would call fun. I enjoy a story, a reason for doing stuff, not just mindless queuing for BGs and arenas. I was good at it but I found it boring.

I PvPed in WAR because it was built ground up for it and was tones of fun~

Likewise I PvE in WoW for the same reason, it’s the first consideration.

Playing WoW or any mmorpg for pvp always seemed silly to me. An RPG about fighting dragons and getting loot, and you want to fight in a completely unbalanced pvp environment. Just don’t get it.

But I can still respect your choice to do it and hope that you will also get to have fun!

PVE for me, mainly large-scale.

Definitely PvE. I PvP once and awhile these days, but I used to PvP quite a bit in the past, it’s not the same as it used to be in my opinion, but it’s still enjoyable.

PvE. Specifically raiding.

I stay far from PvP.

causal PVE only for me… mostly solo or small groups with RL friends.

I only play for a few hours a week and just enjoy going through the quest and storylines and don’t like the competitiveness of PVP or pug raids.

both, I enjoy lvl 10 and lvl 39 twinking

I’m not playing WoW much at all right now but when I do play it’s strictly PvE.

The last time I played a PvP game was in Ace Combat 7. PvP with fighter jets. Now that was fun.

ace combat 7 is really fun

PvE, I like figuring out puzzles and that’s really all PvE is. A puzzle to be figured out with friends and then perfected.

PvP brings the worst out in me. So I avoid it when possible.
