Narrowed it down to these 2, so which 1 should I get, I mostly just do wow or steam RPGs.
Yes I know building it is better but I don’t like dealing with damaged parts and waiting 2 months dealing with shipping and receiving new parts if it breaks.
I’m also really stupid so prebuilt is easier for me.
Currently have an i7-7700k and a 1080 Gpu so both are huge upgrades.
If you are looking for a bang 4 your buck pc like iBuypower, but better, check out Micro Center Power Spec line. They have some nice prebuilt PCs. This is what $2500 will get ya. Their components are just better imo.
Micro center is just a bunch of straight shooters. Very easy to deal with. A completely different experience than at Bestbuy. If you have a Micro Center near you check it out—you are lucky af.
Yeah I’m not sure if I do I can check though but yeah I didn’t know if it was a store or not and I prefer a store than doing the whole shipping thing.
Last thing I want to do is have it shipped pay for it all something is broken I have to wait 2 months for them to ship something new and deal with the whole headache
The 3080 is last gen, the 4x series is current gen.
Depends how much you value the extra $700
Both will be sufficient for what you want
My pc isn’t as good as those, maybe comparable to the 3080 model since I have a 6700xt but a less powerful cpu and I cap my frames @ 144 to match my monitors refresh rate and it’s fine @ max graphics
I think WoW is more cpu reliant than gpu tbh but I’m not expert
I’d say if your looking for something mainly for classic wow the 2nd one is a decent choice but if your looking at fully loading up on tons of games the first one is good I know the RTX 4070 is one of the new ones on the market I had built mine from the ground up and plan on upgrading it before diablo 4 release.
build your own. IF you do decide to buy a prebuilt. I wouldn’t get either of those. I bet they use generic brand ram and ssd/storage but charging brand name quality ram prices. They always do. Hell i’d check the brand of that gpu too. They like to keep out that kind of stuff from their advertisment.
As I mentioned “future proofing” If or when the ops needs change the cpu will be able to handle it. Everybody’s needs from a computer change over time.
I think you might be comparing a i5 with an i7 not a i9.
My advice would to go with $1800 PC but you could also source those parts for a cheaper price using PCPartPicker. The issue with Pre Built PCs is excessive bloatware (Easily removed) and they are usually overpriced
