Started in Wotlk as a holy paladin and played on and off over the years. Moved to Priest and then to Shaman. I enjoy healing in dungeons/raids (which seems to be in demand) but I also enjoy questing with a dps spec. So a few questions before I boost.
Dual spec is being added for 1k gold correct?
Do Hunters still have a deadzone?
Are Warlocks squishy in PvP settings?
Is holy paladin just spam flash and holy light?
Out of these combination of classes which is the most fun to you and why?
I main Pally, and I loving healing. A good healer can easily shift the whole BG outcome. And you always have the option to play Ret dps (Ret is actually good in WoTLK). And Holy is mostly Flash, Holy Shock. There’s more too it than that, but, you get the just. And yes, dual spec is 1k.
Don’t know a lot about warriors, but with a pocket healer (Pally) they are un stoppable.
Not sure on your view versus mine. its gets auto shot more auto to prevent clipping that I recall.
your mileage may vary but…I am a hunter main in retail but have not found hunter fun in classic.
Probably due to I like my lonewolf MM setup. that is to say no pets.
So I do have a retail bias here.
For the pure classic folk retail MM gets a damage bonuse to be pet-less to offset not having fluffy the kill be beast out. So called lonewolf talent spec. I prefer it this way. Only time I whip out pets is for lust in group play. The sooner I can put the pet away again, the happier I am.
I want to like it. but even at level 43 now I can wander away from her real fast.
I boosted a priest, personally. Loved disc at endgame back in the original Wrath but without a dungeon finder I have zero patience trying to level it again today
